Long weekend getaway
We came up for a short break with a planned trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. My son and granddaughter enjoyed fishing in the creek and we enjoyed watching them. The cabin is close to things and yet far enough away. We loved the location. There were a few issues with the cabin, but found Lori extremely responsive to repairing the issues. Master bedroom bed was not comfortable, pick another room! We all enjoyed the hot tub! Would love to stay again!

Convenient Location
Well kept cabin. Nicely appointed. Location is very nice. Loved the stream with firepit next to it. 7 chairs and table outside. Our bed was comfortable. The king bed with the adjoining bath was overly fluffy and guests sunk in it and had a hard time getting out of the bed (not their desired taste). Sink in adjoining bath did not drain. Slider to porch very hard to open, as is the porch door. Fridge took 2 full days to cool, with just beverages, which we chose to not eat in because we didn't know if food would spoil (known cooling issue, as it's outlined in the cabin instruction book). Would stay here again.

I love the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that the area has to offer. We visit at least once a month and always feel refreshed when we return home. My daughter attends college in the area and we have always called Pigeon Forge our second home. I look forward to retiring to the area.

Why they chose this property

This property is located just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. There is a meandering creek just steps from the back door, with sounds and views of the water from the deck. Located on Waldens' Creek Rd less than 1 mile from city limits of Pigeon Forge. You have the quiet serenity of the country but only minutes to action packed Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We have an oversized yard with plenty of room for yard activities and chairs around the fire pit.

What makes this property unique

Away from the hustle and traffic but still less than 8 minutes to all attractions. We love to spend late nights out by the creek with a roaring fire in the fire pit, surrounded by the moon and stars. The fire flies on early summer nights remind me of long ago days spent on our grandparents farm.
