A quiet retreat and perfect for your getaway to the Outer Banks!

J&K's Getaway is a quiet retreat and perfect for your weekend or week-long getaway to the Outer Banks! This newly constructed apartment is beautifully designed and decorated complete with a furnished kitchen, full bath, king size bed and living room. Perfect for resting after spending a day at the beach and in the sun! Linens and towels are provided and waiting for your stay. Located in the sought after Southern Shores community, you will be provided a pass for all the community amenities. This pass will provide you access to a private beach access, a sound park for beautiful sunsets, access to the marina- so bring your boat! Plus other amenities. We are also less then a 2 mile drive to the Kitty Hawk Beach access. There is a fire pit on site for relaxing evenings by the fire.

Very cute, clean and comfortable stay off the beaten path. Not too far from lots of activities. A parking pass is provided for a lovely beach access. Check-in was a breeze and unit is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!

OBX getaway

Wanted something close to the beach and attractions but a little bit away from the main spots and that’s exactly what this is. Very nice place and very clean, perfect for two people. Would definitely stay here again.

Love this place.

Love this place and location. Clean and comfortable. Especially appreciated the kitchen drawers/cabinets being labeled as it helped finding things as well as returning items to their proper spot. Furniture was comfortable as well as bedroom accomodations. River views were gorgeous. Really enjoyed our stay and bookmarked to return.

Great condo for 2!

This condo was the perfect weekend getaway! It was very well equipped with comfortable king bed and everything provided. John was a wonderful owner who responded to us very quickly. We can’t wait to return!

Great host, house and location!

My husband, Labrador retriever and I stayed for two weeks and loved the house. The location is fantastic with a short walk to the beach and to the restaurants and shops in Duck. We loved the neighborhood and made friends with the neighbors too :) The owner was very responsive and kind. We would definitely rent here again :)

Lovely retreat

Beautiful apartment in a lovely, scenic community. A quiet peaceful getaway to relax and rejuvenate. Recommend it highly. The host was very helful and quick to respond.

This place was very clean and well mantained. It was a very nice location for us. We especially enjoyed the choice of coffee and snacks left for us. We enjoyed the view from the deck but maybe the steps shoud be mentioned.

Perfect!

It was a quick 2 night trip and perfect for what we wanted. Gorgeous views, close to beach access, close to a perfect sunset view, even close enough to stores while also being private and away from the hustle and bustle. We fully enjoyed our stay - the bed was very comfortable as was the other furniture. Big bathroom with excellent shower pressure. Kitchen stocked with all we needed. We were able to make a full meal without issue. Appreciated the complimentary snacks and water bottles. Very quiet and peaceful area and the few neighbors we saw were very friendly. Highly recommend!

The property was so peaceful. I regret not bringing my paddleboard but enjoyed the pier out back. The apartment was so clean and well equipped. John was available for any questions and recommendations when needed. Definitely recommending to friends and returning. The neighborhood was stunning, quiet and easy to access anything near by. Immaculate and well appointed apartment. Very clean and supplied with all the essentials - microwave, coffee machine, silverware and dishes. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was up to date. Would definitely re-book when next we come to the Outer Banks.

Lovely relaxing stay in Southern Shores

I had a lovely, relaxing and quiet stay at John's property. It's located on a beautiful cul de sac that backs up to a canal - saw a Snowy Egret looking for frogs twice. The trees around the yard are full of singing birds. It's a great location without all the traffic and noise of the beach. Really comfortable bed and living room. I'm sure I'll be back.

Clean and awesome

Thank you for offering this clean and well-done property. It smells fresh and new as you walk in. We enjoyed having decent channels to wind down to. The bed was very comfortable and afforded us restful sleeps. sleep.
