A Perfect View! Dog Friendly Cabin at The Top of The Mountain!

Welcome to A Perfect View!
This beautiful, refreshed cabin has been completely repainted and has new beds and mattresses. Whether you are looking for complete relaxation, delicious restaurants, hiking, or antique shops, our home is close to it all!

This two-bedroom, dog friendly cabin is located at the top of the mountain, with a paved road! It is the perfect spot for a couple's retreat, friends' getaway, or family fun!

As soon as you walk into the cabin, you will be greeted by unforgettable mountain views. Step out onto the wrap around deck to take it all in! On the main level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs. We will provide a small starter supply of K-Cups for the Keurig. A gas grill is located off the kitchen. There is a queen bedroom with a shared full bathroom on the main level as well.
Walk up to the second-floor loft for the master suite. Sleep in a king size bed with its own full bathroom. All three TV's have a ROKU. Feel free to utilize YouTube TV, or log into any of your personal streaming services.

We know how hard it can be to travel with young kids, so we wanted to make it easier for you! Our guests will have access to a highchair and pack and play (just bring your own sheets and mattress topper if needed) and a baby gate. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you will need any of these items.

If you are traveling with your four-legged friend, feel free to utilize the food and water bowls up there. A medium dog crate can also be provided on request. Dogs will need to be crated when you are not there. Please let us know in advance if you will need any of these items. If you are bringing your dog, make sure to add that into your reservation as there is an additional fee. If a dog is brought and not on the reservation, there will be an additional charge.

peaceful retreat

has an excellent stay. the location was amazing and the view was beautiful. saw some deer on the trail below the cabin in the morning and had a clear view of the stars at night. house was cozy and had no problem staying warm on some below freezing nights

Great Escape!

This was an excellent place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. The location was great and the views from the deck was outstanding. A very peaceful and relaxing home, and pet friendly. We highly recommend the cabin. We can't wait to return.

Amazing Mountain View

We had a wonderful trip to Rabun Gap. It was a peaceful and relaxing trip with much needed mountain air. This is a great location. Close to downtown Clayton, Black Rock Mountain State Park and Dillard. The kiddos loved exploring the mountain. Thank you for a great place to unwind.

Top of the Mountain Perfect View

We enjoyed beautiful view of ever changing mountains,; morning fog/clouds, clear view, rain, sunset, and moon and stars. House was adequately equipped. Host was available when needed. We were short drive to many points of interest.

NYE Hibernation

We had a cozy stay while ringing in the new year. The fireplace was great when we came back from hiking and fishing. I thoroughly enjoyed drinking my coffee in the mornings sitting in the outdoor rocking chair watching the sunrise. We had great family memories roasting marshmallows around the firepit. Communication with the owners was quick, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Secluded yet close to everything

We had a wonderful stay. The location of the home was so perfect. We could travel just about anywhere in a short period of time. Waterfalls and quaint towns are just a hop skip and a jump away. The view was beautiful. We did miss a working fire place, and the TV was a little too high on the wall for our old eyes. The owner was very responsive to our needs and apologized that the fireplace was temporarily out of order.

Mountain Cabin- exactly as advertised

Exactly as advertised. High elevation on the mountain, great view. The view, interior, amenities, etc. were exactly as described and as shown in listing pictures. Host sent a very nice, personalized message about local spots and things to do in the area. That was very much appreciated- local knowledge goes a long way! I would certainly stay at this property again!

Clean, tranquil and secluded! Close to grocery, restaurants and beautiful GA State Parks. Many great hiking trails and waterfalls to explore - too many for one trip! Excellent Wi-Fi and cell service. Quite Mountain Getaway
