About this property
Walkable to Downtown from Family Friendly Mountain House! - No Cleaning Fees
A peaceful mountain getaway with ZERO CLEANING FEES is just a few clicks away! This three-bedroom house is tucked away in a quiet corner of Clayton and is a short walk from downtown. Perfect for families, groups, and dog-lovers. Please let us know if you want an extra twin bed or pack 'n play!
Enjoy your coffee on our back deck with woodsy views, drive up to Black Rock mountain, then stroll downtown for a delicious meal. This wonderfully located house is perfect for your relaxation, offering a vibrant downtown and scenic drives to Highlands and Lake Burton.
You'll have the entire house to yourself! Long range views of mountains as well as the neighbor's flower farm just below. You can watch the beautiful sunset over the quaint mountain down, or cozy up in the den with adjustable height 85 inch television.
The master is a king Tempurpedic for a night of pure sleeping pleasure. A zen sanctuary at the end of a full day. We use quality linens on all beds. There are plenty of extra towels and linens.
The second bedroom is its own private retreat located off a hallway with windows that welcome the new morning with red sunrises. The bed is a queen, and he cover is an authentic suzani from Central Asia. The bamboo dressing table is vintage hand painted.
The third bedroom features a twin day bed, with an additional twin cot and baby pack 'n play available upon request. Note that the third bedroom is a bedroom/sitting room and is an anterior room to the master, with a door between it and the master but not between it and the rest of the house.
The deck has grill and Green Egg style grill as well.
* Ask about early check-in and late check-out. We can try to accommodate if possible *

Why they chose this property
Clayton is a quaint downtown nestled in the mountains. It has an authentic vibe without being touristy. The easy walk down the block from our house really sold us on the property and has provided for memorable nights with family and friends!
What makes this property unique
For us, it is about the details that make this house unlike most that purchase furniture and accessories off the floor. This is a curated, intentional collection thoughtfully layered to create an authentic sense of the well-considered home. Most of the furniture and linens are hand-selected, authentic pieces. For example, the guest room bed cover is an authentic suzani from Central Asia and the bamboo dressing table is vintage hand painted.
