About this property

My house has suffered a bit of damage from Hurricane Ian. Not sure when it will be available again. Please do not make a booking. I am trying to remove my home from Vrbo but have been unable to from my iPhone.

1000 square foot cottage located in the Siesta Bay Resort in Fort Myers. Situated right between Sanibel Island (5 miles) and Fort Myers Beach ( 4 miles) you are conveniently located to all the best Fort Myers has to offer.

The Siesta Bay Community includes 2 swimming pools, hot tub, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, sand volleyball, billiards and even a place to practice your golf swing! It is a 55+ community so at least one of your party needs to be 35+.
(there is a $50 Siesta Bay application fee for all guests as you are provided with name badges so you can enjoy all the activities available at the resort) Minimum occupancy is one week.

The cottage sleeps 6 but there is a 4 person maximum occupancy. Living area is spacious with high ceilings. There is, in addition, a Florida room with a second TV plus a screened in back porch.

Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including coffee maker and toaster. There is a washer and dryer in the cottage, plus linen and towels are included.

Options for dining, golfing and shopping abound in the area. Not to mention shelling on Sanibel Island is awesome and it is considered to be the 2nd best shelling beach in the world!

Wonderful owner and property!

Absolute dream vacation spot! In a very good central location only a few minutes drive from both Sanibel island and Fort Myers Beach! Couldn't be happier with the service and friendliness of the owner! 10/10 would definitely stay here again :)

Very clean and beautiful home. Home owner is very nice and always available to communicate with. Friendly staff in the beautiful community with lots to do to keep you busy. You will not regret your stay here. Awesome time. Will definitely rent again..

Excellent Stay at Siesta Bay Resort Site#637

It was a great experience staying in this property. The property owner Gillian is a cool lady and listened to our requests and concerns with patience and attended them in the shortest possible time. She even managed to send her friend at around 11PM in the night after we locked the bedroom door by mistake. She was very helpful in assisting and managing our stay in this property. The house was clean and all appliances and utilities were working fine without any issues. The house is equipped with all necessary stuff needed for a stay of 2-3 weeks easily. We even extended our stay by talking directly to owner and managed to get some additional discount for the extended stay. Overall the stay was excellent without any major issues. We will surely recommend it to our friends and others , and we would like to come back here for a holiday next time. Thanks Gillian for a wonderful stay. Regards, Ankit

My family vacationed on Sanibel Island several times when I was a child. As I am nearing retirement I wanted home in this area because there is so much I love about it.

Why they chose this property

This house is conveniently located between the 2 places I love most, Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel Island. I love to go shelling on Sanibel and when you come to stay all you have to do is look for the mailbox encrusted in seashells!!

What makes this property unique

There are so many different activities available in this community, several different beach choices within minutes plus you are also conveniently located to go so Edison and Ford's Winter Estates which is just under 13 miles away. Another great attraction in the area.
