House was as described. We had rainy weather but the views from the back deck were incredible! House had everything we needed for our stay.

Cute little mountain stay!
The house was perfect for the four of us. Cozy and had a fantastic view. Great for your morning coffee! The roads to the house weren’t awful as far as tight mountain turns go. Upstairs is neat, but you need to put whoever is cold most often up there. It does get warm. Would stay here again.

Great view
Loved the location, view and privacy. Hated the beds. The mattress on both down stairs beds were hard, definitely cheap hotel quality. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the bed and mattress issue.

Cute mountain retreat, be careful of the driveway unless you’re in a truck, several roots stickin...
Cute and private. Hopefully the driveway will be paved. They’ve cut down three large trees and have tree stumps and root sticking out of the ground and who I rented from does not want to assist or acknowledge that.

Amazing Views!
My husband and I mostly enjoyed our stay very much! The location was private and secluded, with beautiful views overlooking the mountains from the amazing back deck and hot tub. However, the cleanliness left something to be desired. Outdoor cushions were covered in dirt and mildew, the floors inside didn’t look clean, and we found dirty dishes in the microwave upon arrival. Linens all looked clean but overall things were quite dusty. There’s only tap, so be prepared to bring your own drinking water if you want filtered. They also expect you to clean the dishes but did not leave sponges or anything to clean with. Beds were uncomfortable and sagging. But again, the views were unbeatable, the hot tub was great, and we enjoyed our weekend retreat here.

Warning before booking -
This is the first time I’ve ever had to leave a negative review. I was so excited for a moms-and-sons getaway with my lifelong best friend and our adult sons. Sadly, our trip was overshadowed by Vacasa’s poor handling.
I was denied access to the gated community upon arrival, even though I received early check-in approval and was told everything was complete. We waited 45 minutes at the gate—embarrassing and frustrating—until they finally let us in.
Inside the cabin, we found roaches, ants, spider webs, and live spiders in the bedding. No one ever came to fix it despite Vacasa saying someone would. We had to clean it ourselves. We also couldn’t use the washer due to a posted sign.
They’re now claiming I didn’t submit a form and are only offering a partial refund, but I have proof everything was completed. I honestly feel bad for the homeowner, who is likely unaware of how poorly their property is being managed.

Hello Jessica, thank you for your feedback, and we're truly sorry your experience did not meet expectations. What you described falls far short of the standard we strive for, and we deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration caused. We take your concerns seriously and are reviewing this case to ensure appropriate follow-up. We hope that the refund that you were given has helped with some resolution of the issue you experienced. Your input is invaluable, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.
This is the first time I’ve ever had to leave a negative review. I was so excited for a moms-and-sons getaway with my lifelong best friend and our adult sons. Sadly, our trip was overshadowed by Vacasa’s poor handling. I tried speaking with Vacasa multiple times before leaving this review. They decided to close my case and not do what was right. I was denied access to the gated community upon arrival, even though I received early check-in approval and was told everything was complete. We waited 45 minutes at the gate—embarrassing and frustrating—until they finally let us in.Inside the cabin, we found roaches, ants, spider webs, and live spiders in the bedding. No one ever came to fix it despite Vacasa saying someone would. We had to clean it ourselves. We also couldn’t use the washer due to a posted sign. I informed them of the condition and was told someone would help with the bugs and they never came. So, we (my company and myself cleaned the interior and exterior ourselves) They’re now claiming I didn’t submit a form, but I have proof everything was completed. You don’t tell someone they can check in sooner, give them the access code to the door if they didn’t complete a form. I honestly feel bad for the homeowner, who is likely unaware of how poorly their property is being managed. On a positive note - the view is amazing and when clean the cabin is peaceful and enjoyable.

We strive to provide clean, comfortable homes and timely assistance, and it’s clear we fell short during your stay. We appreciate your understanding regarding the beautiful view and peaceful setting when the home is in proper condition. Mountain Cabin in great community
Good news is that the place was clean, the community and the location of the cabin was great and the view was spectacular. Living room and dining table furniture was good and comfortable. Nice large deck area but cluttered with parts and pieces of a destroyed canopy. Property was littered with lots of cut down dead tree wood.
This is definitely a short term , one or two day max, stay. We stayed for 2 weeks. There is literally no storage so we had to live out of suitcases and crates on the floor. No hangers nor luggage racks for the very token closets. Propane tanks (3) were all empty. Infestation of large ants inside and out. We bought propane and ant bait traps and spray for the deck area. The manager Vacasa was very responsive and did reimburse us for those costs. Owner was supposed to arrange a pest control visit but that never happened so we started seeing roaches toward the end of the stay. Beds (one queen, one double advertised as queen) were like sleeping on concrete blocks. A simple gel foam topper for each bed would fix the problem. Lighting was all brilliant white fluorescent and LED and no floor or table lamps.. We used small flashlights to get around at night to avoid turning on the lighting. Security light on the driveway was always on and shone brightly through the bedroom windows. Kitchen was adequate with 1/2 size oven and refrigerator and microwave of good quality. Dishes and utensils of low to medium quality. Zero cleaners for anything.

Absolutely beautiful 💕 Just the perfect timing with the fall leaves changing. Very private even with a neighbor on the hill from us. The cabin was so cozy and the views! Oh my! And upon arrival 3 deer met us in the driveway to greet us🥰 Couldn’t have been any happier and the price was very reasonable 💕
This A frame had obviously been remodeled recently. It was clean and inviting.
A normal sized coffee maker and filters would be appreciated by any coffee drinkers. A spatula for flipping eggs, burgers, etc was not in any drawers.
