Overlook Nook has three levels of living space and four levels of patio space.
The main floor contains the living room with gas log fire place, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a king suite with french doors to the back deck.
The second floor has a master suite with a king bed, walk in closet, and a private balcony with a fireplace and amazing views. On the other side is a loft bedroom with incredible mountain views right from your queen bed. This bedroom is open to the balcony overlooking the living room.
The lower level has a game room with a poker table, dozens of board games, and a dart board. There is also a theater with full Bose surround sound system, an electric fireplace, a popcorn station, and a full fridge/freezer. There is a queen bedroom on this level and a bathroom with a cave shower that is truly unique.
The treehouse is off the main level back porch. It has a hanging queen bed, electric fireplace and an incredible mountain view. To be sure not to hurt the trees, the weight of the treehouse is supported by posts while the structure is built around the trees instead of attaching to them. The fireplace serves as the heat source for the treehouse. It is not air conditioned but it is equipped with window/door screens and a ceiling fan that make for a comfortable sleeping temperature on most nights.
The exterior has several entertainment areas for you to enjoy.
The main deck has a front porch swing, a side grilling area with a Big Green Egg, gas grill, table with six chairs, and serving station. The back area has rocking chairs to take in the view with a hot cup of coffee, and a custom rolling cooler to grab a cold one.
The lower deck has a seven person hot tub that overlooks the mountain and a bar height wood patio set. Step down to the next tier to find a stone fireplace with built-in bench seating and Adirondack chairs. There is another custom cooler for you to stock cold drinks by the fire. This is a great place to set up the cornhole boards for a fireside game.
The french doors in the master suite open onto the upper deck. This is the best views on the property and makes for a great picture spot. It is also a terrific vantage point for star gazing.
The neighborhood is accessed from Boardtown Rd via Big Ben Road.

We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Everything was just as described, and it was clear how much care the hosts put into the space.Communication was easy and pleasant, and we appreciated the overall experience very much. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay.

Compfy
This was a Girls trip to Celebrate my Birthday. The cabin is very compfy and spacious, (9 Ladies and there Stuff….) we loved the Hot Tub and outside fire pit. First day we had some Water issues but David took care of that minor issue very fast.
6 friends stayed for 5 days of golf, poker, & cornhole.
Place is very secluded and not close to town or eating out. Bring your food in like we did and you will have a wonderful time like we did.
This is a beautiful house with lots of space, perfect for our weekend getting together. Host communicated well. Check in and out were very easy. The roads leading up were rough in a fully loaded Transit van, which taking my time and being used to roads like that I was fine but my one friend actually had a Prius and did great! There are bears in the area and they got into the trash before we got there so make sure to lock the trashcans properly. Overall this is a wonderful getaway while still being close to town.
My friends and I (6 adults and 1 infant) stayed here for a 30th birthday trip and it was amazing! All of the rooms were absolutely beautiful, it was incredibly clean, the view was phenomenal and any issues that arose, David was just great. While we were there, a tornado was moving through the area and unfortunately the power dropped out, David provided immediate response about the generator and (once it was safe to travel of course) had someone come out and ensure we were able to get the power back on. Also, the house was very well stocked including a few additional items for "in case you forgot" purposes which really added a nice touch. I truly enjoyed the experience here, and have no complaints about this beautiful wonderful property! I would absolutely stay again! For anyone looking to stay here just things to keep in mind:
- The house is 2 miles off of the main road, and getting there is on a dirt/gravel road with a 15 mph speed limit due to the nature of the turns/bumps. David informed us of this well in advance and suggested an SUV for the drive, and please do heed that warning. My boyfriend was able to make the drive in a Toyota Camry, however, being in an SUV was significantly more comfortable.
- The house is in a rural area so the wifi signal is not super strong, which was perfectly fine for our purposes of relaxing, however, if you did need it for work purposes, just be sure you have a hot spot back up just in case.
-The loft room is just above the main living area, so if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest choosing one of the other rooms.
I truly have no complaints about this amazing property! And I hope you all enjoy your stay as much as we did! :)
Solid place. Great location.
The cabin was a bit dark and the lighting frequently didn't work downstairs. A few lights were missing from the ceiling fan on the 1st floor. We are also unable to locate any cleaning supplies (e.g., broom).
I'd say were were slightly disappointed/confused with the listing since there was only 4 bedrooms, not 5 bedrooms. The "5th" bedroom was a loft without a closet.
Overall, solid spot, host was responsive. Great for a large family.
