This cabin is so comfortable. Location is great. We had our coffee down by the lake or on the back porch every day. Albert is very eady to work with. The last night we made sure to have a lakeside fire. Beautiful.

Take care,

The cottage is nicely updated and well cared for inside as well as stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay for a small group which is exactly as described and photographed. We enjoyed the proximity to all local attractions. We also spent a good deal of our time kayaking the lake from the private access the cottage provides. Albert was a friendly and responsive host, including alerting us to the unexpected but appreciated availability of an early check-in. Cheering you on as you continue bringing new life to this little gem outdoors! Thank you for a great stay.

Appreciate the positive feedback and we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. You were a great guest and we only wish every renter was as pleasant to interact with. Take care and thank you!
Easy communication with host. Very clean inside with comfortable beds. Little bit of a jaunt to the lake but easily doable if not handicapped. Dock and lake area complimentary with kayaks, paddle boards and canoe. Caught a plethora of yellow perch, white perch and a few bluegills out and about on the kayaks. Great fishing results for a non-fisherman. Location a bit rural but groceries and town only a few miles away. Overall very positive.
Our 2nd year in a row staying at this property and we intend to return again next year. Perfect sized house for our family of 4 with everything we needed to comfortably stay the week. The lake is gorgeous and they had plenty of well maintained toys (canoe, kayaks, paddleboards) to emjoy the water. There is a short walk to the dock but feels like a private island when you are out there. Thank you for another week of great memories.
Cottage was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit on the deck, as we had a weekend w/rain on and off. The lake was quiet and calm to swim and kayak.

The cottage is cozy and very nicely updated. The setting is beautiful and relaxed, away from all the busy tourism up north for the Fall colors. However, still less than 1 hr drive to tourist hotspots.
Communication with the property manager was excellent.managerwas excellent.
Gray stay! Central to 93 N to get up the the White Mountains and about 30 minutes from the major lake towns. Beautiful property!

My daughter and I fell in love with this beautiful place! The cottage has everything we needed to feel at home. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding. Everything we needed to make all of our meals. Our favorite thing were the views of Hermit Lake. Absolutely breathtaking! We hope to continue to come back! Thank you Albert, for sharing your beautiful place with us!
This cottage is small but comfortable and boasts everything that's needed. Being on the lake was wonderful and we greatly appreciated having the canoe for afternoon "turtle safaris". The house is a little close to a semi-busy road, but that also meant that we weren't too far from good food and shopping. Overall, a delightful stay in NH!

Thanks for the nice comments! We agree that the cottage is well located being only 7 mins from rt 93 and 15 mins from stores and restaurants. Being on rt 132 helps get to those places as well as being easily accessible to other popular destinations. You were great guests and we appreciate you taking care of our home. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again!
My family and I were impressed by the attention to detail in this cottage. Everything in the home is well thought out and you are provided with everything you need. Kayaks and paddle boards are included and located right by the boat launch. There is a nice area to build a fire and a picnic table by the lake. The owner is responsive to messages and very welcoming.

House was immaculate inside with nice back porch, grill and gas fireplace. A bit of a walk to the water but had its own firepit, picnic table, and newer metal dock with incredible views. 15-20 min to Weirs and Laconia. Only a few pontoons and no speed boats/jet skiis on the lake which made for relaxing fishing and fun on the water. Responsive hosts.

So glad you and your family enjoyed it! You were the perfect guests and families like yours are why we enjoy sharing our home. Hopefully you consider staying again! Take care.
We loved our stay at this cottage on the lake. The host was very responsive to any questions. The property was awesome. The set up by the lake in both spots is so relaxing. We fished off the dock and enjoyed the canoe, kayak and paddle boards during our stay. The cottage is ver comfortable. We were 5 adults and we were all comfortable. It is small but it did not have any of us feeling we were on top of each other. Best trip in a while. We look forward to staying at this property again in the future hopefully.
We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at Hermit Lake. The lake is beautiful, with many small islands; most other visitors are weekenders, so on the weekdays we felt like we had it mostly to ourselves. Cottage is immaculate, and so well appointed and equipped with comforts that it didn't feel small at all: the kitchen is well stocked with appliances and spices, and it was nice to have use of washer/dryer. The sound of the brook (on neighboring property) from the deck is lovely! On rainy days we appreciated the proximity of stores and restaurants in nearby towns. All in all, a cozy, relaxing getaway.

Nina was a pleasure to host. The house and property was respected and left in great condition. Would host Nina again!
This property has a private lake frontage with a secluded firepit by the lake and a dock for boarding a canoe, kayaks, and paddleboards, all provided. There is no sandy beach on the property but there is a good beach on the lake, open to the public. The fishing in Hermit lake is good, especially for crappies, yellow perch, and bluegills. There are reportedly largemouth bass and pickerel, but I did not catch those. We saw loons
This is a great place for a family to enjoy a lake experience.
This little cottage was packed with everything needed for our long weekend getaway. Our children are 11/12 and had a blast using the kayaks and paddle boards on the lake, as did my husband and I. This home was drivable to many great hikes. We came to hike Mount Washington and it was only about an hour drive to our trailhead. Beds were incredibly comfortable, home was very clean, and kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook at home. The washer and dryer were a bonus to have after our long hiking days. I really don’t think there is more we could have asked for….except more time. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

Jennifer and family were a pleasure to host! They took great care of the house and property, communication was great and they were extremely considerate. Would love to have them again!
My husband & I went with our daughter and son in law for a 3 night stay at Albert's fabulous cabin. What the front yard seemed to lack in curb appeal upon arrival, the back of the property more than made up for it, with a well-established path leading down to the water, an adorable wooden bridge & more than a few stairs. No one in our party has health issues & we found the, probably 2 minute jaunt, enjoyable, but it's something to keep in mind if considering this property. If any of us had a bad knee, or bum back, it would have posed a problem getting down to the dock & boat launch area.
Every morning I sat at the fire pit by the water & it truly felt like being in a postcard. Every night, we had a fire & watched the almost- full-moon reflect off the water as it came up from behind the pines. It was magical. Speaking of magical, the kids & my husband had a moose sighting one morning from the back deck with their morning coffee! I missed that though since I slept in late that day, enjoying the very comfortable queen size bed, great bedding and quiet atmosphere.
The cabin is very sweet inside. The furnishings are simple & perfect. The furniture is comfortable, the appliances were clean and worked well. The kitchen sink & convenient island made whipping up meals a breeze. We ate on the deck which had plenty of comfy chairs, a table & nice couch that was covered upon arrival. The grill worked great too. It was perfect. We loved our stay.
