Great vacation at the most beautiful spot on Lake Winnesquam. Cottage had everything we needed and we especially loved the screened porch and beach area!
Great vacation property! We loved being able to have a little beach as well as a dock to use. It was very nice to be able to use the grill for dinner and relax by a firepit. We've been coming here for years and enjoy this quiet end of the lake.
Beautiful property, well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture. Enjoyed kayaking, boating, floating and the fire pit. Area quiet and peaceful and love the view of the water.
Beautiful lakefront cabin on a quiet backroad. 10 minutes in either direction puts you in small New England towns with shopping, dining, and tons of things to do and see. Our morning entertainment was a bald eagle fishing for breakfast outside our window. This home was a perfect spot for a fall getaway for all of us. The three season porch was huge, the house itself was cozy and very welcoming. The pictures did not do it justice, it far exceeded our expectations. We are already talking about making this an annual fall getaway.Lyman the host was very easy to get ahold of and responded very quickly. For anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway we highly recommend this home. We're looking forward to returning soon.
Great location, a very nice, clean home, with everything you need for a wonderful getaway. Been renting here for 3 years now and every year keeps getting better.
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this quiet spot on Lake Winnisquam. We were 4 adults and 2 children & 1 dog. Loved the dock for our pontoon, the walk-in beach area for the kids, the fire pit area, screened porch, everything! Hope to go again next year!
My family enjoyed our stay July 29-Aug 4 2023. The cottage is cozy and well stocked. The screen porch was great at night and the fire pit facing the lake was perfect.
Such a fantastic property to recharge. The picturesque sunsets and conveniences of boating swimming fishing are amazing this is the perfect elegant but rustic retreat perfect for peace and quiet and family getaways

About the host
Hosted by Lyman Jackson
We love the lakes and mountains of the Lakes Region! I grew up in Laconia and have returned here every year with my family for the last 20 years. Our kids have grown up enjoying watersports and fun times with cousins on this lake during our annual vacations. We're now thrilled to have a place to share with our family and with you. Get away and enjoy the lake!
Why they chose this property
Lake Winnisquam is a quieter lake than Winnpesaukee. The north end of the lake is even more peaceful. Yet, you can motor down to the wide-open part of the lake to tube, water ski or wake board. Hanging out at the sand bar at the "Mosquito Bridge" is also fun if you want to play ball / frisbee in the waist deep water and socialize. Winnisquam Marine is located there with a wide range of power, pontoon and other boats for rent.
What makes this property unique
Lake Winnisquam is the third largest lake in NH. It is just 2 hours from the Boston area. While our spot is secluded, you are 20 minutes from the Tanger outlet stores in Tilton as well as Market Basket and Walmart. Hanaford's supermarket is 10 minutes away in downtown Meredith. Check out minigolf at Pirates Cover or head to Weirs Beach to visit Funspot, billed as the largest arcade in the world or head over to Kellerhaus for the best ice cream bar experience and homemade chocolates. Downtown Laconia is also undergoing a rebirth with the re-opening of the historic Colonial Theater (a performing arts center) and, a few miles from downtown, the restored Lakeport Opera House. In Gilford, you'll find Gunstock Ski Area and the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion featuring headline performers old and new.
