This cozy 1 Bedroom, 2 Bath loft condo is perfect for a small family but can accommodate up to 6 with 2 Queen beds in the master bedroom and 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper in the living room.

This is a 3rd floor unit (no elevator) with a large oceanfront balcony with great view off of the living room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 TV's and washer/dryer. The master bedroom is up the spiral staircase in the loft.

Nautical Watch is located in the "Family Friendly" Windy Hill Section of North Myrtle Beach so you are close to all the major attractions without being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. This property offers a street side outdoor pool, 2 sundecks, outside showers, grill facilities, on-site parking and free wifi. There is NO elevator.

Convenient & Peaceful

I love staying at the Nautical Watch - it’s close to everything but you are in a quiet location. There is a hamburger joe’s and a great ice cream parlor just down the road. The property is easy to get in to and just steps from the beach. I loved having 2 balconies with this room - it was nice being able to lay out on the top deck with privacy. I would stay here again!

It took several flushes for toilet paper to go down. One of the lights was out. Kitchen: Bottom drawer on the range was damaged. The balcony swing was broken. No batteries in the remote ( which we purchased). Spiral staircase is very narrow. Not recommended for elderly or disabled persons.

Great location

The condo is right on the beach with a great view of the ocean, which was even better than I expected. We found the beds to be comfortable and the condo was clean when we arrived. Check in process was super easy. The condo itself could do with a few upgrades and there are a few maintenance items that need attention. The spiral stairs going up to the bedroom are very tight and would not be good for anyone with mobility issues. Overall I would say we received good value for what we paid.

Good location. Good views. For most part, it appeared clean. Except for around and under beds. The porch swing back was broke and difficult to sit in. It definitely needs updating throughout. The spiral staircase is very narrow. Sent message to manager about swing and a few holes in walls as I didn’t want the blame but never got a response.

Overall a good property, good location. Spiral staircase is right for big suitcases or anyone with mobility issues. Unit could use a deep clean (baseboards) and new coat of paint. Beds could use new bedspreads, we bought cheap ones from Walmart for our stay. Largest issue was the upstairs AC. It is a portable unit with the hose going outside that someone tried to rig up with plywood and duck tape. Did not hold well, constantly letting in hot air.

Maintenance upkeep totally necessary by owner

Once we got in place was dirty. Dust everywhere, fridge had rust, windows dirty, toilet downstairs needs repair, a bit of mold, stove dirty, linen ( pillow case and duvet ) had stains and problems with shower knob. Day two, took shower upstairs but water wasn't draining and 15 minutes later all the water that remained in shower leaked downstairs in living room area. Quick reaction, we got buckets and later had to clean up. Other than that place is very spacious with a beautiful view. Gave 2 stars because of view and location. Definitely not a repeat for us because of cleanliness.

2025 Family Vacation

The property was just as listed. The upstairs area was larger and nicer than anticipated. If you need to use the pull out couch I highly suggest bringing a pillow top covering for it. I used a ful size and it worked fine. The frame was broken at the couch back rest area so when you sleep you must have your head at the opposite end but overall it slept fine. The upstairs beds were comfortable and nice. The door to the upstairs balcony had a broken handle that was supposed to be fixed while we were there but the guy never came back. It wasn’t an issue however. The tv was only able to be used on airplay from our phone. I used all the instruction on how to get cable or other media to work and nothing would. It seemed locked. If you want to use AirPlay Nikki’s tv is the correct choice. The area was nice being slightly away from the high rise condos. However it is close to public parking beach access and every afternoon our area was very crowded with people who were rowdier than the daytime occupants. It made beach fishing in the evening impossible. The condo comes equipped with all your needs and the washer dryer worked well and way more efficient than I believed it could be with its smaller size. I was very happy with it. My family had a wonderful time.

Nautical Watch is more like Watch Out!!!

The property was unacceptable, within the first ten minutes of arriving a vent was leaking from the ceiling. Maintenance did come and look at it. We were told it was condensation and not to worry about it...um ok? What about when we use the bathroom or get ready and water is dripping on our heads? The property was disgusting. Rusted old refrigerator (not shown in pictures on the website), mysterious liquid oozing from electrical outlets, baseboards were filthy, and we couldn't use the washer and dryer because of the hideous sound it made, machines completely saturated with sand, literally falling out when opening the doors. Huge cracks in the walls and the ceiling was peeling and exposed spackling. I won't bore you with the details of the stained furniture. Residents/private owners that live at this complex were rude and made people so uncomfortable, we avoided the pool when they were there. Based on the nasty comments made towards vacationers this seemed to be exactly what they wanted. The advertisement for this property is an absolute misrepresentation. I don't know how the cheap owner/s can stomach charging people for this garbage can of so-called real estate. I will add the view was beautiful and beach access was convenient, however, that does not excuse a distorted portrayal and poor conditions.

There were clumps of hair and bugs on the floor, sofa, and chair downstairs, and dust bunnies in the (utility) pantry - main bathroom, when we arrived...Furthermore, even the most agile, alert/sober, graceful, and nimble of us would find it dangerous/difficult to climb, and descend the stairs in this condo.

It was so narrow I couldn't get the suitcase upstairs. The furniture was older but the price reflected the age.

This unit is nowhere near as nice as the photos show it to be. If you are elderly or injured or slightly handicapped stay away from this unit. The narrow tiny spiral staircase is the only way to the bedroom. So narrow you cannot carry a suitcase up it safely. There are cracks all over the walls. Toilets downstairs had to keep playing with to get to stop running. If it’s windy at night the front door leaks so bad it sounds like someone is screaming next door. Fire alarm kept going off during our stay for the building. Tv in the bedroom didn’t work for 3 days .lamp in the bedroom upstairs had no knob on it had to in plug it and plug it back in. If the light switch was off at the top of the stairs you couldn’t use the switch downstairs to turn the lights on to have light going up,seems like a code violation honestly but the again so do the stairs.if you are looking for anything near luxury this is not the place. On the positive side it’s in a quiet location and beach wasn’t too crowded🤷🏻‍♂️. I went to the rental office the day after checking in and was offered a refund but told they had no other properties available. Well I felt like that was a scam since other units remained empty with their sign on them on the same street. Overall not a enjoyable trip to say the least .dint even want to sit on the furniture, again pics deceive you ,felt dirty in there and everything including the appliances felt like they drove down the street on garbage day and got them off the curb.green chair is all ripped up and disgusting.

Unfortunately, the A/C had stopped working effectively before arrived. We immediately contacted Maintenance and they responded quickly. Unfortunately, every "fix" they provided was really only helping a little. Finally, after exhausting every fix the realty company could make, they had to contact the owner to replace the unit. The HVAC company responded the next day and replaced the unit. Despite four days of maintenance visits, we had a great week and would definitely stay at this unit again. The realty company was wonderful to deal with. The unit was clean. Could use a good deep clean. And if the owners considered installing a kitchen island, that would go along way in improving seating space and storage space for groceries, as that was missing. Overall - a great little unit. Two thumbs up.
