The location was great. Close to the National Mall. However it is quite a trek to go all the way to the Lincoln Memorial. We just flagged a taxi. Cost 6 worth it! The owners added bonus of arranging an off street parking spot was above and beyond! Parking on the street would have been horrible.
Location was great and the unit was a convenient size for our family of four. Access was easy and convenient. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely look to stay here again for a future visit.
Loved the location of this property, wonderful views around every corner. Very close to the National mall and many other attractions. If you can use the rideshare bikes or scooters the metro isn’t even necessary. Beds were comfy in the apartment and clean.
We had a great stay! The apartment is just as advertised…small but adequate for the three of us. It’s in a great location, 5 minutes to a small store, about 5 minutes to a few restaurants and 12 minutes to the Metro. Scott was quick to respond to any question or concern we had.
We enjoyed our stay here after sightseeing all day. It was nice for our family of 4. Short, easy walk to the Capitol and Union Station. Small grocery store close by made it easy to grab water, snacks, and breakfast items. A great location for a reasonable price. Keep in mind with Union Station close by there are lots of options when searching for a meal compared to probably other parts of town. We ate there several times in the evening and just had a short walk back.
Location, location, location!! 5-stars!!
This small unit is clean, in a good neighborhood, has a well appointed kitchen and appliances. Yet it lacks comfortable chairs for relaxing after days of walking. And be ready to live out of your suitcase. Host was available one day in advance and responsive throughout our stay. Thank you Scott.
My family of 4 (my husband, two daughters age 10 and 13, and I) really enjoyed the place. We felt safe in the location and enjoyed being close to Union Station. We utilized Union Station as much as we could for the metro and meals. It was clean upon arrival. There were 4 towels but only one washcloth for us. We do wish there were more comfortable seating for us to relax after long days of walking. The only chairs were the two at the table (one was partially broken). We had to spend our relaxing time in the beds. Overall, a great space to stay.
Excellent experience. Clean, located about 15 minute walk from Capitol, maybe 10 minutes walk to Supreme Court, and 8-10 minute walk to Union Station where you can catch the metro, Amtrak, tons of shops and restaurants like Shake Shack, Chipotle, and more. A well supplied kitchen with the essentials needed to cook meals, I cooked Breakfast and dinner for my family every day, ate lunch out at the museum cafes. Used instant cart to get groceries for the week meals, and then the Capitol Supermarket on the corner about 2 blocks down the street was useful for quick grocery items I had forgotten or ran out of. The only negative is after a long day of walking around to see museums, capitol, and memorials - there really isn’t a couch to sit and put feet up. We ended laying down on the beds and floor with blankets to watch a show in the evening and rest out feet. Overall a great experience. Host was great and responded to questions quickly. Thank you!
Excellent location and good communication by property owner. It was stocked with supplies. A few blocks from Supreme Court. Building and a block from a market and restaurants.
A convenient, safe, clean, homey DC getaway. We were close enough to walk to Capitol Hill and the Supreme Court, in a charming neighborhood of brownstone homes. Immaculate property, restaurants and bars a short walk away, a responsive host: we couldn’t ask for better. Really, really nice property. I would absolutely stay there again. Best for singles, small families or 2 couples.
All appliances there: coffee maker, fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer, blender, TV, fireplace. Highly recommend!
I went to DC with my daughters ages, 13 and 15. The condo was a perfect size for the three of us. It was very convenient also: go one way and you're on the blue/orange metro line, go another way and you're on the red line. The walk to Starbucks is about 5 minutes and just after you walk past the Supreme Court building, if you just turn to look to your right, you have a stunning view of the capital dome. There are tons of restaurants in the area, the neighborhood is quiet and safe and it was so easy to get around. There is a supermarket one block away. Couldn't have asked for a better setup.
Location, location, location! Less than 10 min walk to Capital. Neighborhood restaurant/ bar, grocery just up the street. Clean and quiet. Perfect for a couple or acouple of friends.
When we arrived the bathroom and floors had not been cleaned but once I contacted the host, he was able to have a crew come in and fix the problem. The location was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.
This apartment is perfectly situated on a quiet, friendly block.
The Union Train Station is just walking distance away and there are some really nice restaurants nearby (must try Ebenezers Coffeehouse!). My only negative comment it that when we arrived, the place wasn't as clean as we had expected. There was still garbage in the bins and towels in the washing machine. But because the owner was sooooo helpful and promptly answered my calls, we were able to continue to enjoy ourselves. I would stay here again, (the beds were comfy and cozy) and would recommend it to anyone. (P.S. Although there were no tv's in the apartment, it really didn't matter. The internet service provided was fast and reliable!)

I work just a block away in the Senate and just recently purchased this condo. Still in the process of fully moving in and decorating. I am listing this while I am out of town some weekends. I hope it is useful for those exploring DC. I am happy to answer any questions and be a guide for your DC weekend stay.
Why they chose this property
Location cannot be beat. It is the safest part of DC. Many Senators and Congressmen also reside in the neighborhood.
The unit is currently pretty simple, as I have just purchased it and am still moving in. This is ideal for anyone looking to spend their time exploring DC and then having a safe, convenient place to rest.
