We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient access to the water to fish. Area was always clean and quiet. Wasn’t far from town when we needed something. The staff were nice and helpful. We would stay here again.
Was a wonderful experience; the cabin had everything you needed. I absolutely loved the fact that they had fenced in areas for the dogs…it was amazing and so convenient for our 2 girls. Beautiful location and perfect for our weekend stay, will definitely book again when back in the area. Highly recommended.

Photos were a bit misleading. Thought we would be next to the river. Accommodations were smaller than expected, but adequate. But we were expecting a larger cabin. Communications with the host were excellent. Fishing was great, and the dock was helpful, but we thought we would have a slip available. Reasonably priced.

Thank you Jap,
I will work on getting some new updated photos on there. We greatly appreciate your thoughts! We do offer boat slip rentals for $12 a day. I’m sorry that you were unaware of this. If you visit us again, which we hope you do, just be sure to let me know, Lindsey, the manager, that you’ll be needing a boat slip. I’ll just take one of the rental boats out of the dock to allow you to put your boat in there. We enjoyed having you, and hope you come back!
Beautiful little cabin near river with the family. The men had a great time catching fish off the dock. Everyone was extremely nice. Loved the area and wildlife.

It is a beautiful area with abundant wildlife! So glad you enjoyed yourselves! Rivercliff hopes to see you again soon!
Cabin had everything we needed. The staff was wonderful with the cleaning crew going above and beyond to make it available as soon as possible. While we did not take a guided fishing trip, the guide was so helpful giving us tips to try from the dock and showing us new methods. Entire staff and experience was excellent!

Hey hun! I’m sorry that you were unable to find the pots and pans, my apologies. You must’ve not looked where they were stashed away because I assure you there are pots, pans, and skillets of all sorts. I think I may label the location of such things with a small, but noticeable label. Thank you for making me aware! Also, we have fans in the other 2 cabins but I’m unsure as to why little blue no longer has one, I am purchasing one today to solve this issue. Again, thank you! As for the signs, Those are just private property and no trespassing signs. The owner of the property passed away and distant family have taken ownership of the property. They really are kind people. I’m just assuming it’s because they’ve come into the property sort of blindly and would rather be safe than sorry. No fowl play there.
And I’m thrilled to hear that the fishing was good for you guys! That’s awesome!
We hope to see you again soon!
Thank you,
Manager of Rivercliff, Lindsey

My 94 year old grandma also came to visit and was sitting in one of the wooden lounge chairs. She has a hard time getting out of low laying chairs. As she was using the arm of the chair to push off to get out of the chair, it broke the arm right off. It clearly showed wood rot on the chair. Which I would assume they know about considering there was 3 boxes of unopened brand new chairs sitting on the front porch of the cabin. There was an automatic air freshener on the wall that would spray every few hours. It was loud enough to wake us at night. Overall the cabin seemed clean but did have air fresheners everywhere so that was a bit strong on the nose if sensitive to scents. Does list you have a private dock. You do have to share with other cabin rental guests and they run a rental boat/kayak business there and they have access to the dock. We were there during winter but could see where it would be busy during prime fishing season.
Good location, close to the river. A lot of construction going on nearby.

Yes, they are building a home on the property next to ours. Good news is they are knocking it out fairly quickly so it should be over with pretty soon.
We had a great stay here. The lighted dock is great for fishing at night and it's just a short walk away from the cabin!

About the host
Hosted by Walter Taylor
I fell in love with the white river in 1985 and have been drawn to God's beauty here every day since. I purchased Rivercliff Resort in 2004. I retired from United Parcel Service in 2011 and Fedex Ground in 2021. I plan on taking my last breath on my deck at the river if the Lord tarries. I want to make each and everyone's spiritual experience here to be satisfying, relaxing, and peaceful.
Why they chose this property
Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. We have lodging accommodations equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that will provide you with a spacious and comfortable stay. Located downstream of the historic Bull Shoals Dam and its magnificent crystal-clear lake. Rivercliff is nestled on the banks of the White River that was once traveled by Lewis and Clark. The White River is home to schools of German brown trout, six other varieties of trout, and many other varieties of fish. There are thousands of blooming redbuds and dogwood trees in spring and fall colors rivaling seasonal get-a-ways of other regions including New England. Build lasting memories at Rivercliff, where America is still at its best. Book your party, anniversary, birthday, wedding, guy trip, last minute trip or weekend get-away at Rivercliff and “return to what matters the most”. Dip your toes in the cool clear water of the pristine White River. Watch an eagle glide lazily over the sparkling clear water. Sit by the campfire in moonlight counting fireflies with a blanket of stars above with nary a care in the world. The serenity of Rivercliff is truly unmatched.
