The lighted private secluded dock (which is for Rivercliff’s guests only) and the river are at the end of our long driveway. It is a refreshing walk anytime of the day. The water on the river stays a constant 47 degrees year around, so in the summer months you will be much cooler near the river so come in August to avoid the heat near your home. The White River is home to the wintering bald eagle. Expect to see Canadian geese floating down river and deer on our property,
We supply everything you need for a fantastic experience but your fishing gear, clothes, and consumables. You may rent our boats or kayaks (on property) OR bring your own. If fly fishing is your thing, we suggest using our private boat ramp where you can launch your own boat. Fishing is open year around, and the White River is a famous blue-ribbon trout fishing location written up in Field and Stream magazine and is noted for the world record brown trout of 34 lbs. We can provide fishing guides at your request.
Enjoy the morning fog that quickly dissipates on the river and the crystal clear clean waters of the White River. Fish, watch the wildlife, relax, rent a boat or kayak.
Forget something? No problem. Bull Shoals is 1.5 miles away, and Walmart is 13 miles away.

The property is close to just about everything and with the river so close it's a beautiful location to unplug. With the location you can forget the world until to begin to travel back home.

Jodi, Thank you for your kind words! We look forward to serving you again in the near future! Walt Owner
We really enjoyed our stay at Rivercliff! We stayed in cabin B, I’d describe it as a nice fishing cabin with all the amenities you might need. Private boat launch and dock to tie our boat up made it extra convenient. Short walk down to the river was great! Even with the river being high, Jusdon- the local guide, was able to get on some really great fishing.
We decided to come fish last minute on Memorial Day, and had the best time. The space was super clean and had all the amenities needed. The property manager was super sweet and they also have great boats for rent (we rented one for a day -- super easy process and very well kept). We will definitely come again! Caught 2 pretty sizeable browns right on the dock!

Thank you so much! Rivercliff welcomes you back anytime!!
We had a great stay. Nice area to just relax and fenced in area to let dogs go potty and run. The boat slip is within walking distance, and there is great fishing. A great dock to hang out on, clean your fish, or store the boat!!!
Close to the State park where we met our fishing guide. The house was clean and perfect for our two night stay. Our original plan was to stay in a hotel in Mountain Home, but the house was a great home away from home. We recommend this place and will be back!
Although we didn’t get to go Kimberly was wonderful. She was very understanding of our situation!
The owner is wonderful

This is a fisherman cabin - not a Vrbo. Large bug zapper in cabin full of dead bugs. Kitchen utensils old and sparse. Hand railing full of splinters. The cabinets were full of junk -nowhere to put our food. Way overpriced for what u get. The cabin was cozy.
This place is amazing and the staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. We had such a good time that we stayed an additional night. The place gives you a feeling of seclusion while being positioned so close to resorts like Gaston's and the town of Bull Shoals. We will be back!

About the host
Hosted by Walter Taylor
Fell in love with the white river in 1985 and have been drawn to God's beauty here every day since. Purchase Rivercliff Resort in 2004. Retired United Parcel Service in 2011 and Fedex Ground in 2021. Plan on taking my last breath on my deck at the river if the Lord tarries. I want to make each and everyone's spiritual experience here to be satisfying, relaxing, and peaceful.
Why they chose this property
Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. We have lodging accommodations equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that will provide you with a spacious and comfortable stay. Located downstream of the historic Bull Shoals Dam and its magnificent crystal-clear lake. Rivercliff is nestled on the banks of the White River once traveled by Lewis and Clark. The White River is home to schools of German brown trout, six other varieties of trout, and many other varieties of fish. There are thousands of blooming redbuds and dogwood trees in spring and fall colors rivaling seasonal get-a-ways of other regions including New England. Build lasting memories at Rivercliff, where America is still at its best. Book your party, anniversary, birthday, wedding, guy trip, or weekend get-a-away at Rivercliff and “return to what matters the most”. Dip your toes in the cool clear water of the pristine White River. Watch an eagle glide lazily over the sparkling clear water. Sit by the campfire in moonlight counting fireflies with a blanket of stars above with nary a care in the world. The serenity of Rivercliff is truly unmatched.
