There is a custom kitchen with soapstone countertops and finely crafted oak cabinetry, open shelving for the stoneware and glassware at your fine tips. The vintage Viking stove, cookware and utensils, large prep space, many small appliances, stocked spices make it simple to dine in. You can be inspired to prepare food at home, enjoy the open meadow with fire pit and charming stone patio with outdoor seating. There is a cherry island bar with four cushy stools, a slender teak table that seats four for sit down. A stand up workstation cabinet and a window seat round out the kitchen.
Original four by four ebony stained beams, original push out freshly reglazed casement windows allows light and breeze in from all directions.The first floor bathroom has a tiled glass shower with a Door County rock floor and a sweet west facing window making it heavenly to shower before dinner. The vanity sink situated in front of the open north facing casement window makes it enjoyable to brush your teeth in any season.
The entire second floor 28x 22 is a king loft bedroom with a sunken bathtub for two. There is a very comfy sofa w/chaise situated under the south facing dormer creating an extra nice place to sink in and relax. The upstairs also has an extra vanity sink, places for your personal things and loads of space to stretch out.
The original barn structure came from Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park. Meticulously dissembled piece by piece by the original owner and then ambitiously reassembled and enhanced making the cottage barn refuge a gem. We invite you to settle and relax into the northern door peninsula!
-Dogs are not automatically approved, please introduce you pet to us in your inquiry-
1. Dogs must be completely house trained, no exceptions
2. If dogs are off leash they must be well behaved when sharing outdoor space. If you know your dog can get territorial or aggressive he/she should not be off lease on the property. If your dog chases or is aggressive to cats they should not be off leash on our property.
3. Dogs barking or growling continuously while owners are home or away are not ready to be our guests.
4. Dogs are not allowed on furniture. We know this is hard to manage on vacation when you want to snuggle with your dog. So if you know you may not be able to enforce that rule please bring your own blankets to throw over the furniture.
***We don't expect or have the time to clean animal hair off the furniture, it is very time consuming and this task is not included in the cleaning fee. So please remove all dog hair yourself with the vacuum and lint brushes (under the sink) we provide.
5. Dogs that chew on furniture, rugs etc., are not allowed. . All damages will be paid for at pet owners expense.
6. Maximum two dogs unless otherwise approved.
7. Please deposit all poop bags to the main garbage receptacle next to the green pole barn.

The Cottage Barn is on the left as you come into the driveway, it has its own parking spaces for two cars and a private yard and patio.
Other things to note
RECYCLABLES
We provide bins located by the stove for all recyclables. In Door County the Going Garbage trash service allows all recyclables to be mixed. Extended stay guests are responsible for walking their trash and recyclable to the main trash. There are three large green bins in front of the pole barn; GREEN lid is for trash, BLUE lid bins for mixed recyclables
LINENS
All linens, towels, tablecloths, napkins, dish towels, extra blankets, beach towels are provided. Upon departure please place all used linens in the laundry basket.
FIREWOOD
We usually have a stock of camp firewood for guests. The first bundle is on the house, after that please leave $5 per bundle when you check out. We don't actually bundle it in plastic so it is up to you to gauge the number of logs in a bundle (usually about 6 logs).
OUTDOOR LIGHTS
The Door County peninsula is an International Dark Sky viewing location. Please keep the stars bright by turning off the outdoor lights at night!
QUIET HOURS
Please respect our 11pm-7am quiet hours. Guests are not allowed to host events or parties at Three Sisters Farm.
COMPOSTING
We provide a small compost bin under the sink for you to throw your food waste and also a large five gallon bucket with a lid outside the door. Please do not put any meat products or plastic/paper compostables in the compost. Also please make sure to keep the lid on the bucket outside to keep animals out.
CLEANING
We expect that guests care for the home as if it were their own. If you are with us for an extended stay you are responsible for cleaning as needed. We provide clean sheets and towels at the beginning of your stay.
TV- there is a flat stream with a fire stick for streaming Netflix, etc.
DOGS- Only two dogs allowed in the barn- check out the meadow sweet if you have three dogs. There is no microwave or dishwasher in the space. Please see requirement for you dog to be a guest !
