Lake Lookout - Loft 6 Penthouse

Penthouse Loft with views of Lake Charlevoix! If you love unique architecture, you'll love this loft renovated from a 100 year old schoolhouse. Boasts heated floors, a private patio, fireplace and beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Enjoy a roasting marshmallows around our firepit and cooking your favorite meal on our shared access outdoor grill.

Fully renovated in 2022, you will not be disappointed in the loft styling and amenities our schoolhouse has to offer. Sleeps 6 adults- 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, plus open upper level loft with sleeper sofa and a full bathroom. Located right near downtown where Boyne City has many cute coffee shops, restaurants, retail shopping as well as the year round Farmers Market every Saturday.
We are 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain and Avalanche Bay for skiing and waterpark fun! As well as nearby beaches and marinas make enjoying Lake Charlevoix easy! We have ski/beach lockers for each unit to keep your equipment safe and clean during your stay. 10-20 minutes away from Charlevoix, Petoskey and Walloon Lake. Great stay at Lake Lookout loft

We stayed over the schoolhouse this past weekend, 2nd year in a row. It's a really nice condo / loft, clean comfortable and well equipped. The owners and property manager are very responsive when we had questions, minor asks. Overall great stay, would highly recommend.

Great property and place. Newly completed and the loft was very cool. Nice large space for a couple families if needed. Easy walk to everything. only downside was the bed was soft for me but beyond that it was great.l And loved seeing a school repurposed in this way.

Everything we expected and more!

The moment we pulled up to the property, we were excited to see inside. We loved the beautifully renovated building while still keeping a lot of the original structures and lovely landscaping surrounding the building. Inside was exactly what we needed for our 4 person family with a lot of extra room. We were also very pleased how close we were to the town which allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back soon!

This is a beautiful 2bedroom condo with (2) pull out couches & 3 full bathrooms! We enjoyed the location & decor! Only wished it was actually (3) bedrooms. That said, the place is beautiful & I would recommend to anyone that doesn't mind a couple sleeping in a open loft area! ☆☆☆☆☆

Very nice place - would recommend

The Penthouse was very nice, everything new. We liked the location, it was within walking distance from downtown Boyne City, private area, and very quiet. The view from the balcony was great, we were able to sit out and watch the 4th of July fireworks. Check in was easy and the place was available for earlier check in, which was great! There wasn't much communication with the property manager, but there was a phone number available if needed. It is on the top floor, so there are three flights of stairs, this is important if you are older and/or if stairs are an issue to climb. For us, it just meant we got our steps and exercise for the day. :) Minor Complaints: Beds were soft and not as firm as they would have liked (for men- this seems to be a complaint anywhere we go). Doors may need some adjustment- they seemed to either squeak or not shut properly. Assume this is minor for new build. It is a beautiful place, would stay again, and we do recommend!! It was a fabulous stay! Thank you!

I loved it. It was brand new. The experience was peaceful, quiet and tranquil. Very central to the area. Perfect walking distance to downtown Boyne City. The setup check in and out communication with the owner and vrbo was smooth and almost effortless. Well worth the value.
