Boyne City - Walk-to-town charming 3 bedroom home with central AC
Guests love to walk to town and to the local beaches, restaurants and pubs. Just 5 miles from Boyne Mountain, this charming 3-bedroom home features a new gourmet kitchen with starter spices and condiments, all linens, wireless Wi-Fi, Smart TV, and front and back patios. The Pottery Barn sofas are "washable" by removing their slip covers, so we're able to freshen them for each new guest's stay. In front, there's a sunroom/sleeping porch with a comfy daybed to catch breezes from Lake Charlevoix. Upstairs, the 3 bedrooms include one queen and two full beds. All bedrooms have a place for your bags and one has a desk in case you need to work from home. The bathroom features a clawfoot bathtub/shower combination, starter shampoos, soaps and a hair dryer. We are dog-friendly, but allergic to cats. Enjoy central air and extra-large ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Front deck looks over a wooded lot and offers lake breezes. Back patio features a view of the garden. Washer and dryer in the first floor mudroom. Books and games in the armoire on the 2nd floor, along with extra linens. Weber grill in back, charcoal in mudroom. The fixings for your first morning's breakfast await. We look forward to being your host! Any issues? We'll be right over to remedy them. I live in and love Boyne City, and I want to make it special for you. I take pride in cleaning this home and leaving it with extras that make your visit pleasant. Like coffee, bottled water, spices, condiments, toothbrushes, tissues, shampoos, extra blankets, charcoal and lighter, books, magazines, games, fresh flowers, etc. I live one block from this home and so can text me with any issues and I can be over quickly if need be.
Why they chose this property
Guests love that they can walk to town. It's a very quiet neighborhood, 5 miles from Boyne Mountain and a 15 minute drive to Petoskey. Walk Avalanche Mountain trails, relax on the beach, rent a pontoon or jet ski, fish, swim...all nearby.
What makes this property unique
It's an older home with character, not a cookie-cutter chain hotel. I have a large garden. The deer wander freely around this neighborhood. Lots of birds. I love feeling Lake Charlevoix breezes on the front deck.
