The Pacific Northwest has seasonal Box Elder bugs. They like the maple trees and are very hard to prevent. They are completely harmless but can be annoying in the outside areas. We have pest control come often and trim the trees where we can. It is just part part of being in nature near the river.

Enjoyed the place. Pictures made me believe the cabin was on the water. So that was a surprise. Pics have since changed.Otherwise, great fishing, great shower, comfy beds, and we cooked in their kitchen. All went well. I’d stay there again when passing thru!
What are darling little gem! The hot tub was such a wonderful treat—overlooking the river and mountains. We even got to see a few small town trains go by. The pillows and beds are the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on away from home. Fun vintage/retro decor. I will be recommending this to friends who ever travel this way!
Couldn't be happier with my experience. Loved the location, privacy, cleanliness, and prompt replies of the host. Will be making this my preferred lodging while traveling for work in the area.
We enjoyed our stay very much my husband was very happy we got to barbecue and celebrate a day late for Father's day but it was worth the wait we enjoyed the hot tub The view the whole visit was great thank you so much
The hot tub was awesome, gorgeous of the river. Situated nicely between Medford and Grants pass with a short drive to either. Hosts were communicative and pleasant. All necessities that could be reasonably expected on site. Shower has great water pressure.
We had an incredible stay at this serene riverside retreat along the Rogue River. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and thoughtfully maintained—everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Although a nearby wildfire caused a brief power outage, it didn’t dampen our experience. The host was communicative and gracious throughout, and the location is perfect for exploring Crater Lake National Park and the surrounding natural beauty. We’d gladly return for another visit!
This spot was perfect for a weekend getaway. It provides privacy as well as wine tasting nearby. Would 100% return.

The area was discreet, with easy access to the river a fire-it on the beach, and a down tree to sit on, the unit was spacious and clean. There were coffee beans and all the makings for a good fresh cup!
Everything was as described. Everything worked, and even the beds were comfy. I spent some magical moments relaxing in the hot tub with a glass of wine staring at the river and vineyard and we could even see deer. The kitchen was well stocked snd the gas stove was a nice touch. I will definitely book again.
This was the absolute perfect property to stay in on our trip home. Everything about it was clean cute already warmed up. The Jacuzzi was already at temp and ready to go. I would stay here 1000 times more.

Thank you for your awesome review. We hope to see you again.
There's a lot to love about the place. The patio is adorable and the bathroom and linens are very nice. At this time some kitchen supplies need upgrades, but over all the house is well cared for. I think the photos to the water access are a little misleading and the area by the water is very over grown with blackberry. We didn't find it as usable as it could be.
The two bedroom apartment was perfect for my friend and I. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean and smelled fresh. Loved the beds and couch. The hot tub was cold upon arrival and was just warm enough in the morning.. but the property manager was sympathetic and gave us a full refund for the night! Will try to stay here again sometime but will send a reminder to please heat up the tub on the morning before check in. Overall pretty great and across from Del Rio Vineyard.. lovely.

We apologize for the hot tub not being hot enough. The tub cover broke when a prior guest sat on it and wasn't keeping heat in very well. We ordered a new cover and installed it. It's working great! Hope you visit us again to try out the hot tub and enjoy the beautiful views of the river.
Near perfect stay. The little cabin has a great aesthetic and was very clean. I loved the choices made in furnishings and accessories. The view of the river and vineyard while hot tubbing, cooking or doing dishes was beautiful, and the occasional train across the river was fun to see and was not obtrusive. The hosts were very responsive and I appreciate the way they have developed their website and had easy to read check-in and check-out instructions and a list of things to do-- provided both online and in a simple hard copy for the coffee table. The hot tub stopped working inexplicably and the host had it taken care of the next day. The kitchen was adequately (but sparsely) stocked for cooking. One area that could be improved upon is silverware. There are just too few pieces, and it's a simple fix.
The property was clean and fresh. Right on the Rouge River and peaceful atmosphere. Very convenient and pleasant. Host had very good communication and friendly. Would love to come back and visit.
My friend and I were in town for a dog show. We each had a dog with us. It was a great place to stay! Very Clean, beds were comfortable and the location was ideal. Only wished it hadn't rained so much while we were there, but that's November for you. We will be back!!!
