Hillside Lodge with a gorgeous ocean view!!! - 10 min from the beach!

The gorgeous, 180 degree, ever-changing view is the star of this property! Situated on a hill, looking out over Wohoa Bay, it is the perfect place to relax, watch the occasional boat on the ocean, BBQ on the deck, walk the quiet surrounding woods or take in the wildlife. The stargazing at night is fabulous! Located off the main road in Addison, it is just 10 minutes by car to Cape Split, a sweet slice of beach, great for sea glass hunting. Lobster available just down the road at Caler Cove. Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor is a nice 1 1/4 hr drive away. SO much to explore and do!!

It was a great location with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The house was very spacious, the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/etc., the owners are very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

This house is a true retreat - nestled in the woods and perched on a hill with unbelievable views of the bay and ocean. The setting is peaceful and private, yet a short ride to a ferry that makes a day trip to Bar Harbor easy and enjoyable. The house was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed to cook for a large group, making it perfect for large family gatherings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

This property was a lil out of the way but so worth the drive. It was perfect for our family of 11. The view was amazing!!! We had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved it will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the vicinity.

Perfect Oasis

Our family could not have had a more idyllic stay at this gorgeous spot on the hill. The view is simply magnificent. And the home is just that - a home - and you feel that right away. Everything we needed was there, including an extremely well stocked kitchen, which is a huge plus for us because we do a lot of our own cooking and baking due to food allergies. The kids loved playing foosball in the finished basement, and we had ample space to spread out around the house so everyone wasn't on top of each other. We enjoyed two great campfire nights, complete with s'mores, and loved seeing the incredible night sky, away from any light pollution. Our day trips included Campobello Island and Acadia, and we couldn't resist a few stops at nearby Wild Blueberry Land for some perfect souvenir gifts for those back home. We truly could not have had a better stay, and I have never had a host be so responsive and friendly. An extremely restorative two weeks in a perfect oasis. Thank you!
