Great Price for a 2 BR w/ convenient location

We very much enjoyed our stay here and will book again! With a little one who goes to bed earlier than her parents, it's great having the 2 bedrooms at a reasonable price and we love being on the inlet end of the beach, near the best restaurants and a big playground on the beach. The shared pool was a big hit too.

We had a few issues (at no fault to owner) there was a leak in the condo above caused the ceiling to have to be open and patched, however management dealt with it quickly. The condo was nice and spacious and a great view.

Please update website, as one place states 1 King and 2 Queens and another states all beds are Queens. I only saw the second when packing, so thought I was fine with bringing just Queen sheets, so was unpleasantly surprised. Property is dated, as evidenced by roof in the pool, pool showers not working, etc. But overall decent and staff were courteous.

Dolphin Run Condo

This condo was very nice! The view from the 12 floor was fantastic and it has a small balcony you can step out on to get even better views. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped for our needs. It was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Make sure to note that they do not have a washer and dryer in the unit and you have to pay to use the shared one on the floor. Also, when they say no linens, they also mean towels, not just sheets for the beds. They also only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels, so make sure to have some of those. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying there.

Property was fine but VRBO listing has some errors. For example you list a queen size bed in the main bedroom and it is a king size. This was a problem since I brought my own linens. Also you list a hair dryer and there is none. Please correct your listing so other renters don’t have the same issues. There was work being done on the building exterior which was very noisy and we were asked to avoid using the balcony. That should have been communicated prior to reservation.

Great stay, few little issues

The apartment was very clean, the view and location was beautiful. The beds and sofa were comfortable. I loved the lighthouse china. However, there was a gap in the cement of the balcony with hazard tape up, which made one of our teenagers too scared to go out on the balcony. The hot water tap in the master bedroom wasn't working well. It made noise when turned on, not much water came out, and the water never heated up. It made it hard to wash my face at that sink. This wasn't the property owner's fault, but the apartment building was doing maintenance on the balconies, so there were unsightly cords up in front of the balcony, and the door between the pool and the beach was out of order.

Amazing views and location

We had a wonderful time at Dolphin Run condos, #1206. The view was amazing! The apartment was clean, airy, and conveniently located on the boardwalk. The condo was a little older with a few minor issues: part of the balcony needed repairing, part of the crown molding was missing and the pipes made noise when turning on the hot water in the master bedroom. None of this impacted our stay, but it was noticeable. The condo doesn't come with any linens, no towels, sheets, dishcloths, etc. They did suggest a local business would supply the linens, but the linen packages were costly. It was also difficult to reach the business. We ended up bringing our own. I would suggest the condo owners revisit their plan and offer guests an easier solution. Another suggestion would be a book/note regarding basic information for both the condo and the area. We had to inquire about general information, like where to bring the garbage to dispose of it, recommendations for local eateries, and things to do close by. Much of this info can be found online, but a personal recommendation would go further.
