Host was extremely responsive. A beautiful deck that was hard to use because it was mostly in sun. Some small maintenance issues need attention. A nice location and house that needs just a little attention.
If you need a property to go to and relax... keep this one in mind. The area, the property is just amazing. Super clean, communication is awesome, beds are super comfortable... even the living room couch. I would highly recommend this property and no I didn't get paid for this review. Just an honest review from someone who came to enjoy peacefulness with my family.
We had a great time at this property. Perfect place for our group’s birthday retreat weekend! Very conveniently located and exactly as described. Dana was a wonderful and communicative host. We would definitely stay again.
This is a lovely home about a 8-10 minute drive from Julian. It was spacious enough for cozy family dinners, movie nights, and for relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. We had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The AC worked great which was very important for our trip during the summer. We enjoyed watching the sunset out in front of the house and the stars at night on the deck. Our dog was also welcome. The home is perfect for a beautiful mountain retreat.
We are senior citizens about 2 hours from Julian. We loved this vacation home. Everything you need is provided, including coffee! The views from the deck are amazing! Dana was very communicative. We highly recommend this vacation home and hope someday we can come back.
We had a great time staying at Dana’s place - plenty of room for all of us including our pups! Dana was very responsive and detailed with check-in/check-out instructions. We can’t wait until our next stay =)
We had a terrific week in this beautiful home with great views and lots of privacy. Convenient to Julian, Lake Cuyamaca, and golf at Mt. Woodson. Would definitely stay here again when we come back to Julian.
We needed a nice place to gather for 3 hikes we (4 friends) had planned over 3 days in the San Diego area. This was the perfect place. The four bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The place was so quiet and the setting in the woods was great. The outside deck and ground are large with lots of seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious enough for the four of us to gather without bumping into each other. The washer and dryer were especially appreciated after our hikes. The host was very responsive to any e-mails. We would definitely stay again.
Our family of 5 (2 adults & 3 kids) really enjoyed this charming retreat! Upon arriving, the most beautiful little fox ran across our path as we drove down the long, secluded driveway straight into nature! My little boys had the best time exploring the large property and playing on the fun hammock. The bbq was great and we loved eating dinner together and playing games on the large deck. The host Dana, was very responsive and accommodating. The home offered plenty of space and we appreciated the coffee bar selection. We didn’t bring any pets but definitely a cool place if you wanted to bring dogs! My only suggestion would be to clean out the fireplace (strong odor upon entering) but besides that everything was great!
