Welcome to The Shaker House, your escape from the city in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Our home features 3-bedrooms plus a home office, 2.5-bathroom and offers tons of privacy, a breakfast kitchen, a dining room, a living room, in-unit washer/dryer, WiFi, 2 TV’s, JACUZZI and a fire pit! The perfect retreat for families, friends, and even your furry companions, our home is completely pet-friendly. And if you're looking to cool off, our POOL OPENS up for the season on Memorial Day and closes Labor Day.

Step inside our custom-designed home that provides guests with a comfortable and inviting space for relaxation and rejuvenation. Our 3-bedroom plus a home office, 2.5-bathroom home is fitted with blackout shades and luxurious Cozy Earth sheets on all beds. The master bedroom features a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress, the second bedroom features a plush queen-sized mattress, and the third bedroom features two twin-sized Casper mattresses. Additionally, our home office includes a twin-sized sofa bed, perfect for accommodating an extra guest.

In addition to the bedrooms, our home features a dining room, living room, and breakfast kitchen, providing ample space for relaxing and entertaining. The living room is perfect for movie nights, with a large flat-screen TV and comfortable seating. The breakfast kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and the dining room offers a spacious setting for family dinners and gatherings with friends.

All of this is situated within over 2,000 square feet of indoor living space, making our home the perfect retreat for families and groups of friends. The outdoor spaces offer ample opportunities for enjoying the beautiful Hudson Valley scenery, whether it's lounging on the patio or exploring the nearby nature trails. The Shaker House is the perfect place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in the Hudson Valley.

Beautiful House!!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was very cozy, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. We loved the comfortable beds and black out shades and the surroundings were so peaceful. It was great to be so close to markets and to Beacon and Legoland! We had a great time! Highly recommend this place!

Family Weekend Away

This property was the perfect space for our weekend getaway from the city. There were 5 adults and an infant and the house was plenty spacious and well equipped with amenities. Most of our time was spent by the pool and enjoying the lovely garden. The hosts are superb and the home was the serene retreat we needed.

Relaxing getaway at a beautiful property

My family and I (with 3 kids ages 4-10) loved our stay here, and the pool and jacuzzi especially! Property was beautiful and the house wonderfully maintained. Beds were so comfortable. Property manager was in regular communication and we had no issues. Loved it!

Amazing House!

My family and I recently stayed at this lovely home and we had an amazing time. The design of the house is stunning and we loved being surrounded by nature while still being close to all the amenities we needed. The comfortable beds and blackout shades made for a great night's sleep, and the well-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to cook and prepare meals. The hosts were also fantastic - they were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy the pool. Overall, we highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

The perfect getaway!

The stay was exactly what was needed to relax and take a break from the city. Gorgeous, clean home, fully stocked with everything and more. Each room of the house was tastefully decorated and comfortable to lounge around. I loved that there was a dedicated work space/office where I could get some work done away from any distractions. I got a really good nights sleep in the comfy bed and it was so nice waking up to all the surrounding nature. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, it really has it all!

A beautiful respite from the City

Arriving at the property, travelling up the long driveway covered by lovely trees (very green as it was July), I already felt some of my stress disappearing. The house is welcoming from the outside, but the first thing I saw was the fabulous backyard, equipped with everything you want on your summer vacation: a large, in-ground pool, a practically new hot-tub, an awesome deck with plenty of seating and shade, some beautiful landscaping and plants, and a truly fully-fenced in yard for my pooches to roam free! When my two friends arrived, we entered the house and were immediately impressed by the stunning furniture and style everywhere you turn. Well-appointed and comfortable, we made use of all the rooms during our stay, except the third bedroom, as were were only three, and none of those rooms disappointed. The kitchen, especially, has all you need to cook great meals, or to grill outside, both of which we did every day during our stay. There are also some great restaurants in proximity for pick up or delivery. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-organized. The owner was so clear in communication, and so responsive to my questions. I have some mobility issues, so I stayed on the property the whole time and could not have been more content. My friends went exploring and enjoyed the nearby towns and opportunities for adventures. I truly hope to return some day as this was the best rental property I have found through many years of vacation rentals.
