About the host
Hosted by Chris
My wife, dog and I love to travel and experience new cultures/places. We're passionate about different architectural and design styles trying to create spaces that are welcoming and unique. I'm excited to be a VRBO host and strive to provide every guest with a 5 star experience. It's a pleasure to share our cabin and hope it will be a special place allowing you to make lifelong memories.
We greatly value feedback and promise to use it to improve the cabin and all future guests stays.
Why they chose this property
Located in the coveted Gatlinburg Falls Community, rated #1 Family Resort in the Smokies by Southern Living Magazine. They have two full sized pools, a small children’s splash pool, hot tub, community gym, waterfall, lawn chairs and lounge area. These facilities are included with your stay with seasonal swimming pools available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Our close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park means there is wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! Black bears visit the cabin in Spring, Summer and Fall. You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view from the deck. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the proximity of the cabin to the park, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.
When you've had enough relaxation, look forward to endless entertainment in the surrounding area; you'll be in the perfect spot to explore through winding hiking trails and world-class ski slopes in the Great Smoky Mountains. Other local attractions can be found in downtown Gatlinburg, including delectable restaurants, intriguing shops, the always-entertaining alpine slides, and even a moonshine distillery!
We strongly recommend trip insurance, especially during the winter since there are no refunds for snow and ice. In difficult winter or storm related weather situations there can be delays in cleaning and check-in pending road conditions which can be outside of our control.
