Beachview 209 is a cozy efficiency studio condo located in the heart of Gulf Shores right across the street from The Hangout. It has a king bed, bathroom, and small kitchenette with a small refrigerator. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. A laundry room with coin-operated machines is located on-site. King. Sleeps 2. No monthly rentals

Beachview Condominiums is three stories small complex in the heart of Gulf Shores. It sits directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, The Hangout, Pink Pony Lounge, and the Gulf Shores Public Beach. Mikee's Seafood and Picnic Beach Restaurant are both directly behind Beachview. It consists of 50 condos built in 1995 with mostly small efficiency units. The condo's prime location is one of its best attributes. There is some covered parking for smaller cars. Compact Cars Only. No trucks or SUVs are allowed and will not fit under the parking garage entrance. Parking for larger vehicles is beside and behind the complex.

The minimum age is 25 to rent.

Concert Stay

Perfect location for a couple needing a place to stay after a concert at the wharf. Easy walk to get breakfast after a late night. Great location by the beach.

There should be steps for this bed, it sets very high. The bathroom is very small with a small step in tub that is only good for a shower.

The condo is the perfect size for a couples getaway. It is in the perfect location for easy beach access, good food options, and shopping or activities. The condo was very clean and the booking process was easy and the management team communicated everything clearly and promptly. The pricing on this listing is perfectly affordable, as well.

Love this place. Second time staying at Beach View in this unit. Room is perfect for two. Convenient and easy to get to the beach and many restaurants. Parking was a breeze! This may be a little picky but there are some pretty nasty looking stains on the toilet bowl which I noticed immediately. But for the most part everything was clean and organized. The only thing this unit lacks is a full sized refrigerator for our longer stays! Overall, very laid back, cozy and affordable stay. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

I am 5ft 2 inches & had to climb up into the bed. The bed slept fine, but once you get in it's a struggle to get out. I would not stay here again because of the super high bed. If I were older this would most definitely be a safety hazard.

No communication with manager

Everything with the listing was good room was as advertised but my vehicle was towed because it was a truck parked under the building but the others under there was not. The overflow lot was always full from people that wasn’t staying there and none towed. Also vrbo didn’t even give me the right contact info for my reservation so I couldn’t speak to anyone.

Fun stay

Overall good stay. The building's a bit run down on the outside and the parking area and stairs were dirty. I requested the address to the exact location of the property and was directed to the website where i was unable to find it. I requested it again and was ignored. The location was great and the room was adequate. Nothing fancy but nice.

We stayed in this property while we were attending Hangout Music Festival. The location was very convenient and close to the venue, which is exactly what we needed. It was also very affordable and fairly quiet. The property itself was quite old and dated, and the room was very small. The room smelled vaguely of mildew. A renovation would really do this property some justice. Nonetheless, we only needed to be close to the festival and the free parking was a major plus.

Honestly, this was the worst stay I have ever experienced in gulf shores. First off, I was told maintenance would be coming by Friday morning and was told by a person named Taylor? That she would contact me that they were in my room and I never heard a word from her so that was sketched Then, Saturday night I was locked out of my condo and the after hours servicing lady was very rude and disrespectful to a customer over the phone. I don’t appreciate this kind of behavior towards me when I paid alot of money for this condo. I would like to be contacted about this very soon.

Fine for the price minus the fees!

For an inexpensive place to stay, it was fine but there is nothing fancy if you’re looking for that. If you’re planning to stay bring an extension cord for cell phones because there wasn’t an outlet near the bed. Also the only mirror was a small mirror above the small vanity. It would have been nice to have a dressing one on the bathroom door. A small area rug would have been a plus as well.

It’s very small, as in smaller than an average hotel room. It could use some minor maintenance, like fixing the loose tub faucet. The furniture, bed in particular, could stand an upgrade.The location is great. We parked the car when we arrived and didn’t need it until we checked out. The parking is covered, so your car doesn’t blister in the sun all day. It is across the street from the beach, but the walk there is very short. The Dollar General on the next block has all your supply needs. A week is not long enough to try all the good restaurants within walking distance.If you want fancy, try one of the high rise properties on the beach side of the street. If a convenient crash pad suits you, try this rental unit.

Worst experience

Property management was horrible in communication. Apparently you cannot park your truck in the parking garage got a violation sticker on Friday and when we asked the people that worked there, they said they didn’t know anything about it and they wouldn’t do anything like that never ever told us that trucks couldn’t be parked underneath there. The violation sticker did not have a reason so we had no idea until Sunday morning when we woke up and my truck was towed so then I had to find out where my truck was and why and go to Canal Street to get it out of storage that cost me 250!!!

The photos make this property look so much better than it is. Also, when we opened the door in hallway the odor of pot was terrible. We opened the door to room and it reeked of mold and musty. The only night we stayed, we couldn't sleep because of the pot, and musty ordors. Our only saving grace was the property management company - Gulf Shores Rental. They found us another property which was outstanding. I would not recommend this property unless you are a young pot smoking person.

Reviewer Comments: Knowing that this is a "non-view, non-balcony" property directly across from The Hangout and GS Public Beach it was exactly what I expected as far as location. The common areas were in good shape (laundry, elevator, etc) and parking was good. The unit had a couple maintenance issues when I arrived but Gulf Shores Rentals fixed the issues immediately the following day and explained that I was their 1st tenant as managers for this particular property. The unit was very clean, stocked well with kitchen ware, and just as represented in the photos. The tub/shower were excellent. I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking for reasonably priced accommodations with an exceptional location and are ok with no balcony or view.

The tiny refrigerator doesn't work well and drools water onto the floor, toilet keeps running with nearly every flush, the front stairs have irregular tread heights from one to another making ascending and descending a bit tricky. Also, some of the steps have an uneven tread surface also making their use tricky. It is a dangerous situation for those that are unaware or anyone who is a bit of a fall risk. Love the location as it right across the street from the Pink Pony Pub which was next door to the Gulf Shores Motel we stayed at when I was a "tweenager" in the 60's and 70's.

Spring break stay

A lot smaller than the pictures showed. The bathroom ceiling had lots of water damage. Basic toiletries were left, but if you know that the guest is staying for a week, leave more than one roll of toilet paper. My biggest complaint was the remodeling next door. This was my vacation and the noise from next door would not allow me to sleep past 7. It would have been nice to have been notified that they were remodeling or at least moved my room. Walls are super thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. I also wasn’t left a parking pass/welcome pass in my room so that whole first night I worried about my car being towed. I did like I could walk to beach and to the souvenir shops and the hangout.
