This newly remodeled 4 bedroom, charming log style home is located 1 mile from Crystal Mountains golf and ski resort. With its beautiful setting this home is located directly on the highly sought Betsy River with over 200 ft of river frontage and 2 private acres. This large spacious 4 bedroom home has 3 finished levels, 3 full bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, double oven, air conditioning, game room/rec room, large deck over looking the Betsy River, covered front porch, stone fireplace in the living room with 18 ft ceilings and large private property with plenty of parking. Come home after a day of skiing or golfing and put on a fire and pour your favorite drink while you are mesmerized with the sounds and views of the tranquil Betsy River. Known for excellent year round fishing, it is also great for tubing, kayaking, or cooling off for a swim. My wife and I have been in the vacation rental business for years with homes on Lake Michigan, Crystal Mt, and Mackinac, and know what guests come to expect. If you have a large group and are in need of two homes we just completed a brand new one that was just finished in 2022 at Crystal Mt also. What a beautiful, spacious and FUN house! The kids loved the arcade games, the river walk down the path through the ravine, and we had a blast making s’mores and sitting around the fire. The beds were super comfortable, and we greatly appreciated how clean the kitchen and bathrooms were. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, drinking our coffee in the mornings, watching the kids play in the front yard, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We highly recommend staying here, and hope to return again ourselves.

First the good. The host Chris was very quick with his responses. The house was very accommodating for our group, as far as sleeping. Also house was very pretty. It is only 25 mins from the amazing town of Frankfort, and lake Michigan, or the casino at Manistee! The bad… the floors were very dirty! Our feet were super dirty the first night! There were cobwebs, on the lamp shades, which I vacuumed while I was there, and the vacuum bags, and canister…because there were two in the closet were completely full! There is a list of “do nots when you arrive, which are don’t wear shoes in the house, but the floors were already dirty! If the trash cans are full, which in our case we were there Sunday through Friday, the hosts ask you to take trash to the local gas station and pay 3 per bag to get rid of…and our cans were both full for the whole week! Trash is picked up Thursday…not Wednesday which is what was tole to us. Also no easy way into the river…about a 3-4 ft drop off of the landing into the river with huge rocks at the base. We had horrible flies at the property in the front of the house, so be aware, or spray! This property has so much potential for an awesome stay, but for 4000 a week, I would go somewhere else to enjoy the outdoors!

Beautiful setting

This property is beautiful and so peaceful. Home is just as pictured. Loved the porch swing and the fire pit was enjoyed in the evenings. Wish the river was more accessible for the grandkids to play in but definitely did not deter from our fun. I definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again. Chris responded quickly to communications which is appreciated. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Excellent Property

We had a wonderful stay! The pictures don't do this beautiful home justice. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it is decorated, well appointed, and very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the home was super clean. Prior to our arrival the hosts sent us a welcome message with dining tips, and things to see and do in the area. This was an above average experience and we will definitely be back again.
