Charm of historic Uzès; quintessential home renovated by architect

Uzès is one of the loveliest historic cathedral towns in the South of France. Within its very centre, our home is located in a quiet cobble-stoned and superbly charming alleyway; a two-minute walk from the historic center and a stone's throw from the famous Market square "la Place Aux Herbes".
This fully renovated townhouse sleeps up to six guests,; with two bedrooms, each with a private en-suite and a king-size bed. The sofa-bed is located in the top floor lounge. Should you prefer, the king bed on the mid-level can be separated into two twins. On the ground floor, we have a lovely stone-vaulted kitchen opening onto the entry courtyard. The middle level includes the living-room and dining area, along with the first of the two bedrooms and boasts historic elements of rare beauty.
At the top level you'll find the office, the second bedroom and a beautiful traditional rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a chilled glass of wine with the French nibbles you have bought at the very renowned Saturday market.
Amenities include: air conditioning/heating units in every single area of the house, WIFI throughout, with television sets in both the living room and kitchen.
The modern kitchen has a central island counter seating six and is fully equipped for trying your hand at French cuisine, though with so many great restaurants,at only a few minutes' walk from the house, you may never have the time.
Reservations are for three nights minimum and a max of 6 guests.
