Just 2 guys up for a weekend fishing trip. The house boat had everything that we needed with plenty of room. Very convenient being right in Anchor Bay. Plenty of room to park truck and boat trailer. John was very welcoming and all around a great host.

John was very nice and attentive. He was quick to fix the leak in the bedroom.
The boat needs updated. There was very little privacy. The blinds were paper and difficult to close/open. The smell definitely was something to get used to.
We were there for a wedding nearby. The best part of staying was the host, John Zangara. Previous reviews had mentioned how friendly he is. We found him to be extremely friendly and generous. He is a local real estate agent and I highly recommend that if you have business or pleasure in the area that you book one of his properties. We stayed three wonderful nights.

It was a quiet break for me. It was much better than staying in a hotel alone. The boat owner constantly communicated with me. I would do it again. It is of course best in warm weather. I had everything I needed to be comfortable.
If you are accustomed to living on a boat, this is for you. If not, the tight quarters might be an issue. The owner is very generous and has a grill and hot tub for guests use.

We booked for 3 days and barely got thru the first night. The sewer smell was so bad. We were in there 12 hours and had to get a hotel, never went back. Would have been a nice stay besides that.
Communication was great. John is super helpful. It was very quiet. If other people are whooping it up close by you can’t hear a thing from inside! We had an excellent time!

John was an outstanding host. He made us feel so welcome and part of the family. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and I will also rent again from him
