About this property
Walk out the front door, across a grass lawn and onto a sandy beach
Walk out the front door, across a grass lawn and onto a sandy beach. Watch the bald eagles and sea otters play. Feel the warm sun on your face and the cool sea breeze through your hair. Listen to the waves on the beach. Feel the sand between your toes. Remember what fresh air smells like. Reunite with nature and sooth your soul. Relax on the deck with your favorite person in one hand and your favorite drink in the other and enjoy the sunset and the sounds of nature.
This is a remote property where the lots are 5+ acres. Your closest neighbors will be harbor seals and bald eagles. After that it's the other two guests with whom you are sharing 8 acres and a 1/4 mile of private beach.
The property is right off highway 112, yet you will have the experience of being immersed in nature.
The Sea Eagle is a tiny home with a loft. The bottom level is about 600 s.f, and the loft is about 300 s.f. On the bottom level it's hardwood floors, leather furniture, very good quality cookware, knives, silverware and cooking utensils. The sheets are a very soft 800 thread count Egyptian cotton. The towels are large, plush and soft. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash are spa quality. Toilet paper is Charmin.
The loft has soft carpet, a queen bed, a 52" smart TV and great views of the beach and ocean. The ceiling height is about 4.5 ft- typical for a tiny home.
Outside there is a fire table on the porch overlooking the ocean, and there is a charcoal BBQ. You may also make a fire on the beach except when there is a fire ban.
bus is available from port angeles. If you try this, contact us prior for specific instruction on how to get the bus to stop in front of our property.
There is direct access to the property from the highway.
UNLESS YOU BOOK THROUGH AIRBNB, once you have booked, your booking confirmation will include your TRUVI booking validation link. The validation process includes ID verification. Guests who book through Airbnb have this built into your 15% Airbnb fee, thus no additional insurance or ID verification is required.
We also use TRUVI for short-term rental insurance. They will collect either a fully refundable deposit (plus a non-refundable admin fee) or a non-refundable damage waiver.
Both the deposit and the waiver cover you for any accidental damage caused during your stay. Please complete your validation prior to check-in.
A well supplies the water. Like most coastal wells the water has a tint varying between a green tea and a weak black tea. It is chlorinated and goes through a triple filter and is even safe to drink. Nevertheless we provide drinking water via a water cooler with Olympic Springs water.
