It is only 2 km to the Baltic Sea shore and the former fishing village Lohme, the bathing beaches at the fine sandy "Schaabe" can be reached in Glowe after approx. 8 km. Just as far is the port city of Sassnitz away, behind which the Prorer Wiek begins with other sandy beaches, which drag themselves into the seaside resort of Binz. Nipmerow can be reached by train to binz, Sassnitz or Sagard or comfortably by car. Sports in the vicinity: deep-sea fishing, golf, horseback riding, diving, swimming, boule, bocce, cycling.
