Creek Front Relaxation Vacation

Relax on the creek. Let the sounds of nature wash away all your daily stresses and get back to your roots at our water front cabin. Enjoy the unbeatable views and amenities of the creek water that runs right in front of the house. The only thing separating you from the water is a small creek front lawn with a stone fire pit ready for a crackling fire to be lit- perfect for smores, storytelling and snuggling once the sun goes down. There is a new swing- facing the creek as well. Three bedrooms large enough to fit several families inside the cabin with two bathrooms. There is an expansive common area centered around a ceiling high circular stone fire place. Opposite the common area is an open floor plan kitchen with stove, oven and all other cooking necessities. A large dining table is also sitting just inside the glass surrounded first floor. Laundry room also included. Amazing creek front views from every common area and from ALL THREE bedrooms. The cabin has a long porch and deck attached. Finish off each afternoon with a short dirt road walk to the BEST ice creamery in all the land- Eder's Ice Cream at the end of the lane. You'll be just south of Ryder Park with hiking and mountain biking trails and about 8 miles north of Indian Park which has sports fields and children's playgrounds for all ages.

Fantastic Place

This was one of the best places we've stayed; possible THE best, if there is such a thing. The creek is directly on the property, which makes for a truly splendid time - the Loyalsock is the best waterway in the area, and this is a prime location on the creek, so that alone would make it all worthwhile. However, in addition to this, the house is fantastic; uniquely built, with lots of open space and natural lighting, thanks to the many windows and glass doors, all of which overlook the creek. The wrap around porch is large and welcoming, offering you a shady spot to sit throughout the day, and. again, always overlooking the creek. The yard is open and well kept, for the fam to play games and such, and the general area is very quiet and remote, while also being accessibly close to stores and the like, for any items you might otherwise need. This really is an ideal stay for a family. Oh, and Craig was a great host! You can tell there's a genuine care invested into this property, which only adds to the awesomeness. We're thrilled to have stayed here and plan to again, as soon as we can. Cheers!
