It was our second time staying in this rental. Great place to stay with everything we needed for a few days: Kitchen to cook dinners, washer/dryer to get a mid-trip wash done.
The house was perfect for our visit to see the sandhill cranes. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was stocked with everything that anyone would ever need. All the bathroom amminities were also provided, as well as plenty of extra blankets. Proximity to the old bridge was a bonus for excellent crane viewing. We would definitely stay here again.
We needed a place to stay that was closer to family, and where we could easily cook dinners. This property had everything we needed and it was a nice place to stay at.
We truly enjoyed our stay in your community and were thrilled (I might say ASTOUNDED) with the ease of viewing the migrations. Our prayers for safety to you, cattle, and all the wildlife.
Very clean, and family friendly place to stay. Truly a home away from home! Extremely thought out accommodations. Easy check in and out. Friendly host!! Pet friendly was a plus!!
We only stayed one night but uad everything we needed. Well stocked with furnishings in the kitchen and a bunch of family friendly games. Plenty of space for a few adults and some pups.
Easy process of checking in, plenty of room, lots of towels available, plenty of supplies for cleanup, firewood already available for fire pit, quiet location.
We had a nice time once we were able to get in to the property and find the right house. A house number would be helpful. The house was really cute and we had a good visit.
This little old house comfortably fit my family of 5 and 3 dogs. We spent most of our time at the lake. We were only in the house for the early mornings, late evenings and throughout the night. The house was clean. The little air conditioner kept the house pretty cool when on high. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and seemed to be pretty new. The yard is not fenced but it is a very good size for dogs to go potty and run around a bit. My only complaint is that the shower curtain doesn't go low enough so a lot of water splashes out of the shower, and the shower head sprays in odd directions making it difficult to wash soap off. The lake was really low this time of year so the house was not as close to the water as we had envisioned (obviously, no fault of the owner). Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for a lake vacation. We would definitely rent this again.
I’ve stayed in a few rentals in Lewellen and this one was a pleasant surprise. It was 100 degrees while we were there and it was so nice to come back from the lake to an air conditioned house where the AC worked well at cooling the house. The ceiling fans in the bedrooms and family room were great to have as well. The queen beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with what we needed to cook a meal. The Wi-Fi, working tv and games were great to have as well. We had a nice stay! Thank you!
Cute house in a quaint, little town.Hosts were communicative, very helpful, and welcoming. And, no lie, Jill was the very best host I've ever had!Thank you, Jill. See you next year!!
