IMPORTANT NOTE: Reduced rates due to construction noise/activity Mon-Thurs 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on neighboring lots. Carmel’s pristine beaches, shops, restaurants and galleries are just minutes away from this oceanview classic. Inside, the hand-hewn beams and burnished wood floors glow with the patina of the past, but the décor is straight out of Architectural Digest. Both the formal dining room and the step-down living room (with fireplace and large TV) feature forest views and a glimpse of ocean. There’s a petite powder room on the first floor, along with two bedrooms (one King and one Queen) and a full bath with a tub/shower.

Wonderful location. We watched the sunset from the dinning room and kitchen. The house had a well stocked kitchen. We were able to cook meals. The house was very clean and easy to get in and out.

We had a great stay. The house has a great layout for multiple people to have privacy. It is beautifully decorated and well supplied. We walked to town and the beach daily - there are some steep hills. Definitely recommend this house!

We just happened to be there the one day there was a heat wave. Fans were supplied and available in the house. The house was really hot when we arrived. Electricity went out in the am for a few hours the following day, but I attribute this to the heat wave. We were told none of the houses in that area have ACs. Honestly, it is unnecessary. Aside from the random heat wave and bad luck, it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!

What a perfect and beautiful vacation space. The home is so comfortable and the hosts were so responsive. Centrally located to the beautiful coast, restaurants, Monterey Bay activities. You can walk through all the beautiful neighborhoods and the property does have ocean views. Lovely. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks so much for sharing your lovely home.

This rental home was pretty comfortable for a few days. We slept on the king bed and I’d say we slept well. The exterior railing out the kitchen door is rotten and not much of a back yard to hang out in, no furniture.The only two chairs were next to the driveway. There is a very steep drop into the driveway and we scraped the bottom right side of my husband’s truck. We also had construction on the Friday of our stay whereas it was supposed to be just Monday - Thursday and they were cutting concrete stones which was very noisy and after complaining an adjustment was made.Carmel is a beautiful town and love coming there. We took excellent care of this home as if it was our own. Unless you plan to be gone all day this rental would be best on the weekend.

The coziest house in the cutest town

We LOVED every second of our stay at Casa Dolores in Carmel. The house is gorgeous and was perfect for our ladies trip of three. We especially loved the view of the ocean from the dining table. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful villa style home on the edge of town. Very comfortable and had everything we needed to cater in. 15-20 minutes walk into town for shops and restaurants. Small bathroom could be a problem if you’re very tall!Only down side for us was constant construction noise from directly behind and to the side.

Nice Getaway with a View

We visited Carmel with friends. The space was great for the four of us, and there was even a view of the ocean. The decor was eclectic and cool! The property manager was extremely responsive. There was quite a bit of construction in the area, but that wasn’t in the owner’s control.

The perfect stay

We stayed here with my parents for my moms 70th birthday. It is tucked away in a quiet and peaceful area but close proximity to downtown and beach access, so we were able to walk every morning. The view in the morning and at night was incredible. I would recommend this to anyone, we did not want to leave. And the host made access easy. We are already talking about coming back!!!

Hidden Gem!!

This is a gem of a Carmel cottage. Perfect size for my family of 4 with a cozy and well styled living area. Well stocked kitchen, large bedrooms with great amenities. Full bathroom is a bit tight but that was easy to overlook with the quality of the other accommodations. Driveway is a bit steep but this wasn't an issue for us. I can envision a long comfortable stay in my future at Casa Dolores.

Lovely little property located just down the street from Carmel's main drag by car. This was perfect for a weekend with our adult son. The kitchen is well equipped and all the rooms were very clean. You can catch a glimpse of the ocean from the dining room if the fog bank is out. FYI, if you are taller than 6'6" this may not be the right house for you.
