Welcome to your Historic Savannah vacation at Waldburg Garden apartment. This beautifully restored historic townhome was originally built in 1875 and fully renovated to include all modern amenities while maintaining its original charm. Located just two blocks from beautiful Forsyth Park and its iconic fountain and walking distance to the heart of historic Savannah, this is a perfect location to immerse yourself in Savannah life, where you'll be spoiled with many good dining options, strolls through live oak-draped squares, galleries, and museums.

The quaint ground-level garden apartment is perfect for a couple or a small family visiting Historic Savannah. The spacious apartment offers a private entrance with its covered patio and a shared courtyard and garden. The interior has been renovated and includes one bedroom with a Queen size bed, a full bathroom with a beautiful all-new walk-in shower, and a parlor-style living area with a sleeper sofa and a flat-screen TV. Plan to prepare excellent meals in the all-new kitchen, fully equipped with stainless appliances, new cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a four-burner gas range and oven.

Enjoy quiet mornings or evening cocktails on the backyard-covered patio. The outdoor space includes a fenced yard for your furry family members. The backyard space is shared with the upstairs apartment. Wifi is available. Street parking is available nearby on Waldburg Street or surrounding streets. No reserved off-street parking is available.

Walk or bike to many nearby amenities, including Forsyth Park: Many events are held at the park throughout the year. It is an excellent choice for picnics, outdoor sports, walking, and jogging.

Guests will also be located only a short 20-25 minute drive to Tybee Island, Savannah's beach. Come out for a day trip to enjoy the beach, fishing, visit Ft. Pulaski, or climb Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches.

Savannah visit

Very good description of property and very accurate photos. Recently renovated space, very well done, spacious for a one bedroom apartment. Incredibly clean and nicely furnished/appointed. Tybee Vacation Rentals were great communicators and responsive.

Much darker than pictured

Good spot and very clean. The property was fine but pretty dark inside. It looks very bright and well lit in the pictures but it’s actually pretty gloomy, even with all the lights on. The pull out couch is the thinnest mattress ever, couldn’t really lay on it because of the springs. The property managers were good. The air conditioning broke and couldn't be fixed. The property did not give us any sort of refund/discount but did move us to another property at no additional charge. It was very inconvenient and frustrating.

Quick response when there was a plumbing issue.

Visually, the place was great! The apartment has been restored nicely with updates in all the right places. And the location was fantastic also. We walked almost everywhere we went within 20 minutes or so with parks and local restaurants in abundance. Unfortunately though, we had a plumbing problem. Slow draining showers and gurgling toilets quickly lead to an unusable bathroom. The rental company was quick to respond to send someone out who was there within the hour, then eventually called a professional to come before the end of the day. We were issued a partial refund and could not be more grateful for the quick response from the rental company, but none the less couldn’t use the bathroom for the greater part of the day.

The property was beautiful and close enough to downtown you can really walk anywhere. It’s about a mile to river street and a half hour walk, but very easy!

Great location, very clean.

The property was brand new so it's in perfect shape. The bedroom is nicely tucked away from the main room, making it quiet. We easily walked to Forsyth park and surrounding neighborhoods. There is a small patio and backyard plus a great kitchen.

We enjoyed our trip to Savannah!

Property was newly renovated, clean and perfect size. We had a few issues with plumbing that apparently began with the previous renters but the rental company handled it timely and professionally. This condo/townhome is on the edge of historic and slightly sketchy. We heard gun shots at night but never felt we were in danger at the property. We enjoyed our walks to Forsyth park every morning.
