Cozy and stylishly furnished apartments in the Eckermannhaus right in the center of Weimar (Thuringia) invite you to spend the night in a historic atmosphere. You are visiting Goethe's friend and secretary Johann Peter Eckermann. He gave the house where he lived until 1823 his name. The listed building is one of the oldest residential buildings in the “Frauentorvorstadt” (center) in Weimar. It was in the 16th Built in the 19th century and extensively restored from 1998 to 1999. This 35 sqm apartment on the 1st The upper floor is furnished in the Bauhaus style. Up to 4 people can stay here, whereby 2 people can use the couch as an extra bed in the living area. It has a large living room with a modern kitchen and dining area. An LED TV with cable connection is available. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a double bed and a linen closet, bed linen is included. A cot can easily be placed on request. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and toilet. Towels are ready.

Perfekt im Zentrum

Sehr gut, Weimar ist ein fabulöser Stadt mit Kultur, eine angenehme Atmosphere, viel Faziliteiten, viel zu sehen und geniessen. Vom Eckermannhaus, perfekt im Zentrum, kann man einfach alles besuchen.

Im Herzen von Weimar

Eine schöne FeWo, nur 200m vom Goethehaus, besser kann es nicht sein! Die Wohnung ist topp renoviert, gut funktional und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, kein unnötiger Schnickschnak, alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind schön und die historische Bausubstanz passt zum Urlaubsziel. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war nur das Bad richtig gut geputzt. Die Böden waren staubig und mit Haaren übersät (Hundehaare?), die Flächen nur zum Teil sauber. Die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer ist unbequem und wacklig. Das Geschirr ist ein ziemliches Sammelsurium. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht verdunkeln (Straßenlaternen!) und die Gastronomie im Erdgeschoss war abends und nachts gut zu riechen. Wir konnten diese Mängel gut ausblenden, aber wer im Bereich Sauberkeit, Helligkeit in der Nacht und Gerüche empfindlich ist, wird hier vielleicht nicht zufrieden sein.

Prima appartement voor 2 op een ideale plek in de oude stad

Om de hoek van het Goethehuis en de Markt, en toch een redelijk rustig plekje in het centrum. Voorzieningen in de woning voldoende, goeie badkamer en lekker bed. Als je Weimar een beetje wil leren kennen is dit een uitstekende uitvalsbasis.

Weimar ist mehrere Reisen wert

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem geschichtsträchtigen Haus und ist sehr zentral gelegen. Damit ideal für Stadtbummler, wenn man, nach einem bisschen Suchen in den angrenzenden Straßen, einen Parkplatz gefunden hat. Allerdings ist es durch die zentrale Lage und durch das Restaurant im EG auch sehr laut, Schlaf bei geöffnetem Fenster ( wir waren an 2 Tagen mit über 30 Grad in Weimar) unmöglich. Als sehr störend haben wir die Straßenbeleuchtung ca. 3m vom Schlafzimmerfenster entfernt empfunden. Auch bei Benutzung der Plisseevorhänge am Fenster hatten wir „Leselicht“ im Schlafzimmer. Das Mobilar ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Schlafgelegenheit im Wohnzimmer nicht zu empfehlen. Geschirr war kunterbunt zusammengewürfelt und teilweise verschmutzt. Wir haben es nicht benötigt, da es so viele tolle Gaststätten in Weimar gibt. Sehr vermisst wurde der Fön. Er war nicht in der Objektbeschreibung angegeben, gehört für mich aber zur Grundausstattung.
