Cozy and stylishly furnished apartments in the Eckermannhaus right in the center of Weimar (Thuringia) invite you to spend the night in a historic atmosphere. You are visiting Goethe's friend and secretary Johann Peter Eckermann. He gave the house where he lived until 1823 his name. The listed building is one of the oldest residential buildings in the “Frauentorvorstadt” (center) in Weimar. It was in the 16th Built in the 19th century and extensively restored from 1998 to 1999. This 35 sqm apartment on the 1st The upper floor is furnished in the Bauhaus style. Up to 4 people can stay here, whereby 2 people can use the couch as an extra bed in the living area. It has a large living room with a modern kitchen and dining area. An LED TV with cable connection is available. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bedroom has a double bed and a linen closet, bed linen is included. A cot can easily be placed on request. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and toilet. Towels are ready.

Perfekt im Zentrum

Sehr gut, Weimar ist ein fabulöser Stadt mit Kultur, eine angenehme Atmosphere, viel Faziliteiten, viel zu sehen und geniessen. Vom Eckermannhaus, perfekt im Zentrum, kann man einfach alles besuchen.

Im Herzen von Weimar

Eine schöne FeWo, nur 200m vom Goethehaus, besser kann es nicht sein! Die Wohnung ist topp renoviert, gut funktional und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, kein unnötiger Schnickschnak, alles Notwendige vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind schön und die historische Bausubstanz passt zum Urlaubsziel. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war nur das Bad richtig gut geputzt. Die Böden waren staubig und mit Haaren übersät (Hundehaare?), die Flächen nur zum Teil sauber. Die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer ist unbequem und wacklig. Das Geschirr ist ein ziemliches Sammelsurium. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht verdunkeln (Straßenlaternen!) und die Gastronomie im Erdgeschoss war abends und nachts gut zu riechen. Wir konnten diese Mängel gut ausblenden, aber wer im Bereich Sauberkeit, Helligkeit in der Nacht und Gerüche empfindlich ist, wird hier vielleicht nicht zufrieden sein.

Prima appartement voor 2 op een ideale plek in de oude stad

Om de hoek van het Goethehuis en de Markt, en toch een redelijk rustig plekje in het centrum. Voorzieningen in de woning voldoende, goeie badkamer en lekker bed. Als je Weimar een beetje wil leren kennen is dit een uitstekende uitvalsbasis.

Weimar ist mehrere Reisen wert

Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich in einem geschichtsträchtigen Haus und ist sehr zentral gelegen. Damit ideal für Stadtbummler, wenn man, nach einem bisschen Suchen in den angrenzenden Straßen, einen Parkplatz gefunden hat. Allerdings ist es durch die zentrale Lage und durch das Restaurant im EG auch sehr laut, Schlaf bei geöffnetem Fenster ( wir waren an 2 Tagen mit über 30 Grad in Weimar) unmöglich. Als sehr störend haben wir die Straßenbeleuchtung ca. 3m vom Schlafzimmerfenster entfernt empfunden. Auch bei Benutzung der Plisseevorhänge am Fenster hatten wir „Leselicht“ im Schlafzimmer. Das Mobilar ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Schlafgelegenheit im Wohnzimmer nicht zu empfehlen. Geschirr war kunterbunt zusammengewürfelt und teilweise verschmutzt. Wir haben es nicht benötigt, da es so viele tolle Gaststätten in Weimar gibt. Sehr vermisst wurde der Fön. Er war nicht in der Objektbeschreibung angegeben, gehört für mich aber zur Grundausstattung.

Wohnen zwischen Schiller und Goethe

Für Literatur-Fans perfekt: Wohnen im Eckermann-Haus und nur einen Steinwurf von Goethe-und Schillerhaus entfernt! Schiefe Böden und Wände vergisst man darüber leicht. Das Bett für den dritten Gast ist etwas unbequem und die Wohnung könnte etwas besser geputzt sein, aber die Lage ist sensationell und die Nachtruhe trotzdem gegeben.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit Vergangenheit

Die FeWo befindet sich inmitten des historischen Stadtkerns und hat selbst eine geschichtsträchtige Vergangenheit. Hier beweist sich, alt muss nicht altmodisch sein. Die kleine Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Sehr angenehm war auch der nette Kontakt zum Vermieter, der Fragen sofort beantwortete. Danke . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Alles sehr gut.Nicht gut ist die fehlende kostenfreie und prinzipielle Parkmöglichkeit am bzw. in der Nähe des Objektes. Man muss dann entweder 10min Fußweg von einem gefundenen freien Parkplatz zum Objekt akzeptieren oder im benachbarten allgemeinen Parkhaus kostenpflichtig das Fahrzeug einstellen bzw. auf der bewirtschafteten Straße abstellen.

Gute Lage aber wenig liebevoll

Die FeWo hat eine super Lage direkt um die Ecke vom Goethehaus. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten stören aber das Gesamtbild: - das Sofa ist schon zum Sitzen sehr unbequem und ich würde nicht darauf schlafen wollen - der Couchtisch hat ein kaputtes Bein - es wurde nicht genug Toilettenpapier zur Verfügung gestellt, das Spülmittel war fast leer, die Pfeffermühle war kaputt - es gab keine Anleitung oder ein Willkommensheft, in dem z.B. beschrieben wurde, wie der Fernseher funktioniert => ein wenig mehr Liebe zum Detail würde die FeWo nochmal deutlich aufwerten

Sehr zentral gelegen

Kleine Ferienwohnung mitten in der historischen Altstadt und trotzdem erstaunlich ruhig, obwohl sich im Erdgeschoss ein (sehr gutes) Restaurant befindet.Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Da es ein sehr altes Haus ist, ist der Fußboden ziemlich schief und man muss über einen engen Gang und Holztreppe ins 1. OG. Das hat uns jedoch nicht weiter gestört. Für Stadtbesichtigung und Kultur ist die Wohnung absolut ideal gelegen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erster Gast nach Corona-Schließung

Kurzentschlossen haben wir mit 2 Erwachsenen und 1 Hund diese historische Ferienwohnung im Herzen Weimars angemietet - die ersten Gäste nach der 2-monatigen Corona-Pause. Es hatte sich daher etwas Staub und weiteres (Toilette) angesammelt, was man hätte sehen und entfernen müssen. Daher nur 4 statt 5 Sterne bei der Sauberkeit. Ansonsten eine einwandfreie Kommunikation, viele Tipps und Hinweise, welche sehr hilfreich waren. Man darf nicht vergessen: es ist ein historischer Altbau (schiefe Böden, niedrige Türen) - aber gerade das macht den Charme aus! Mit einem Buch von J.P. Eckermann in der Hand wird die Geschichte wieder sehr lebendig. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung sehr gut und geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Great apartment in historic building 100 steps away from the Goethehouse

Complete and comfortable apartment for 2 persons in the centre of Weimar. The host is great and provided also a parking space.
