The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are just a 10 minute drive and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is just a 15 to 20 minute drive. Whether you are looking for downtown excitement or the peace of the mountains, Downtown Inn is where you want to be in the heart of Asheville!

Basic accommodations. walking distance to many restaurants and shops in Asheville. Parking was difficult. There were plenty of spots, but they were challenging to get in and out of. Good value for the money and the check-in process and communication was great

Excellent value which includes free parking & free breakfast until 11:30 AM. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, milk, waffles, cereal, bagels, good yogurt & some sort of microwaveable sausage & biscuit. Issues: needed to pound on the door to the suite to gain entry (I was able to but some will not have the strength to do this), semi-clogged bathtub drain (unless they put in a $1 filter it will always clog with hair) and cheap bar soap that's nearly impossible to rinse from your hands (I used the shampoo instead as it worked better) All that said, while the place is quite dated, it's hard to beat the value.

It was clean, comfortable, had excellent power-strips (a highly underrated luxury when you travel with electronics), was affordable and had the most beautiful mountain views I've seen!

Convenient and clean

We stayed here overnight to attend a show at the Salvage Station. It was very conveniently located in downtown within walking distance to several restaurants. Quiet enough for a good night's sleep and easy parking. Would definitely stay again.

Solid place to stay!

Easy check in, plenty of parking, all the basics. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Nice view of the city from the balcony. Breakfast was just make-your-own waffles and bagels so we ended up going somewhere else for that. 10/10 would recommend for the price.

Bestie Birthday Vacation

The stay at Downtown Inn was great! It is central to every place we wanted to go. It is walking distance to some great pubs and bars, as well as shopping. The room was exactly as described and very comfortable. I will definitely book here again and highly recommend the property.
