We had a nice stay at the Blueberry cabin for a quick weekend getaway. The location is perfect! 3 minute drive to the water. The cabin is super cute and well appointed. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
Zeona was absolutely wonderful to work with, for my first time ever staying in anything other than a hotel I couldn't have asked for a better host. The house was amazingly comfortable and quiet. Even little things that we may, and did forget at home were provided making the stay that much more enjoyable. Bathroom essentials, board games, even a sewing kit just in case. They thought of it all to make it a home away from home.
The property is very nice and it's a unique layout that worked well for staying with friends because the kitchen and living room is separate from the bedroom area.

We are happy you enjoyed your stay, Mike! It was a pleasure hosting you!
I dont even know where to start, if we hadn't been delayed arriving I wouldn't of even stayed 1 night. Location, not explained well. Rural? No in the middle of wooded area surround by other properties that at 5.30 in morning male voices shouting and revving engines. Property could be stunning, but lack of general hygiene and care turned into a nightmare.Stains on bedding looked like grease, sheets stained and full of hair. Bedding not matching. Really bad damp musty smell on lower floor of property. White stains over sofa cushions. Dishwasher inside bottom covered in a yellow slime, coffee pot still coffee residue, base coffee stains. Oven mitts covered in shiny sticky residue. Outside property overgrown full of weeds and just not looked after. Did not look inviting to use outside or hot tub. Host accused me of over exaggerating claims. Did arrange cleaning on following morning but we had already left. Lock on front door didnt work on leaving. For 2 woman travelling alone it is not the place to stay. I have stayed in union before and loved it but location of property is not comfortable. I could go on and on but saving that for the fight to get a refund between host and VRBO. Although Vrbo were great help in moving accommodation.

This review very critical and not accurate. We take all guest concerns seriously and want to address each point honestly.
Cleanliness: When we received your message, we immediately scheduled our cleaner for that morning. Upon inspection, she found the property in overall good condition. There were minor marks on the sofa cushions which she addressed, and no evidence of the significant hygiene issues described. We do acknowledge that no home is perfect and always welcome feedback during a stay so we can resolve issues in real time.
Noise: The property is located in a rural town of 800 inhabitants. Any morning noise would have come from neighboring properties and is unfortunately outside our control.
Our Response Time: Because you arrived late in the evening, we didn't receive your messages until the following morning and responded immediately. We're sorry we couldn't resolve things before you chose to leave.
We're sorry your stay didn't meet your expectations. We have hosted many happy guests and remain committed to providing a comfortable, well-maintained home.
Thank you for staying with us! It was a pleasure hosting you and you are welcome back any time!

There was 2 large dripping mold holes above the beds, the day before she told me but she said they were covered. When i woke in the morning i had a fly stick to my face. When i checked the bed it was full of dead flies. On 2 separate days workers came, blocking us in. On the second day they blew leafs off the roof and into the hot tub and tub area rendering it unusable. There was not the kitchen cooking pots and pans or any of the other gadgets I'm accustomed to having access to. It was terrible Thanksgiving, then no one wanted to stay.

This review is not fair nor accurate. When the guest booked we mentioned that we had two spots of water damage that may contain mold, they are sealed and we were working to get someone out for the full repair. They were told immediately upon instant booking and decided to stay instead of getting a refund which we offered. These areas were completely sealed, not wet or "dripping", the home was cleaned prior to her arrival and the guest never mentioned flies or we would have sent the cleaners back. I personally stayed in the home two months before and did an inventory of pots, pans, and kitchen utensils of which there were plenty.
Great property and very comfortable! Location felt a bit sketchy, but maybe just the area. It would have been nice to have AC in the bedrooms.

I apologize you felt that way about the location, it is secluded but a very safe area. Thank you for your feedback about the AC, we appreciate it. It was a pleasure hosting you!
This place is *very* sweet. Brand new (?) furniture and appliances. Kitchen is really nice - plenty of dishes, glassware ,and (gasp!) TUPPERWARE!
Beds were very comfortable, water was hot and everything worked great. We found the guidebook useful!

We are happy you enjoyed your time at the cabin Alex. It was a pleasure to host you and you are welcome back any time!
We didn’t imagine the house would be as lovely and cosy as the pictures, and it absolutely was. Beautiful, quiet home for our work-travel stay, but my husband and I will be back for vacation stays, it was so peaceful and lovely. We really appreciated the host’s kindness and responsiveness when we had a late notice complication pop up, and they handled a minor low-supplies condition quickly and easily. We were delighted with our stay.

House was very nice, had almost everything you would need but what it didnt have was a few minor kitchen items. Otherwise was well appointed and would definitely stay there again.

The Bluberry cabin was such a lovely place to stay. The owners have done a fabulous job with this place. It’s so beautiful and everything was so well put together. The lay out, the decorating and the added touches the owners provided made our stay very special. The courtyard with the propane fireplace was an added bonus…we loved sitting out there in the evening! The owners communicated with us daily to make sure everything was fine. The 4 of us went for a girls golf tournament and we were 5 minutes from Alderbrook golf course and this place couldn’t been any better! Thank you and we will be back and tell others we know about this great spot!

Thank you, Melanie, I am so happy you enjoyed staying at our little cabin there in Union! It was a true pleasure to host you and would love to host you in the future! You are welcome back any time!
Beautifully appointed property in a quiet location. We were two couples attending motorcycle track days at the Ridge - property had plenty of room for cars and trailers. Living and kitchen are separate from bedrooms so nice for early risers and owls to enjoy being up without disturbing others.
Our only (very minor) complaint is that there was no coffee maker - just a French press. The coffee is nice, but for 4 avid coffee drinkers, a lot of pots had to be made.
We would definitely stay here again.

We really like the location of the house, it is a few minutes away from beaches and restaurants. Alderbrook resort is pretty close by. And all the outdoorsy places are within 20-60 minutes drive.
The house itself is very neat and newly renovated. There is a huge space outside for you to relax or let the kids play. We enjoyed the fire pit outside(got our firewood) over dinner and drinks. Not major callouts but somethings that could be improved in the house- there is a staircase that was creaking and almost about to break we had to be mindful of that step especially carrying kids up and down. The kitchen is quite basic with all the essentials, a few more items and it would be perfect.
Zeona was very responsive and the checkin was smooth.
We will definitely recommend this place to friends.
