This dual-home layout makes it easy to gather when you want—and retreat when you need. Early risers and night owls can peacefully coexist. Kids can play games in one home while adults enjoy a sunset drink or quiet morning coffee in the other.
Each home has its own identity and vibe—but together, they create a cohesive, elevated retreat perfect for groups who value connection and breathing room.
The Setting:
Located on beautiful Walton Lake, a spring-fed, clean, and quiet lake where only paddling, swimming, and floating are allowed—no motorized boats. Both homes sit on over 2.5 acres combined, surrounded by mature oaks and nature trails.
**“The lake is just a short walk down two peaceful, winding paths with well made steps. Along the way, you’ll find a resting spots where you can pause, take in the fresh air, and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. Some guests love the little walk, while others simply enjoy the view from the patio and other spots around the property — both are wonderful ways to experience the lake.
For an easy trip down, you’ll find tote bags in the front room closet . They’re perfect for packing towels, sunscreen, a bottle of wine, or a few snacks, so you can settle in by the water and truly relax without having to make extra trips. At the base of the lake, there are sheds stocked with life jackets in a variety of sizes, so you’ll have what you need to enjoy the water safely.”**

About the host
Hosted by Camille Tokerud

My family has lived in monroe for 20 years when we were not in NYC raising the kids and working.
When Covid turned us all upside down I thought it was a perfect time to enter into my next phase of life living upstate . I expanded my properties making this area our full time residence.

Why they chose this property
What makes these two homes so special is their location—just a short drive from NYC, with 300 feet of private lakefront. The lake is calm, clean, and perfect for swimming—no loud or unsafe motorboats here—just peace, nature, and amazing views from both homes.
I come from a big family and now have a large “tribe” of friends and loved ones in NYC, so I really understand how important quality time together is. I also know how valuable it is to have space to unwind, so I designed these homes to offer both connection and comfort.
Other Things to Note
• 108 is a brand-new listing for summer 2023! While it’s just starting to collect reviews, you can check out my 5-star Superhost ratings for 112 to get a feel for the experience.
• My homes are fully stocked and thoughtfully curated so you can settle in and feel at home right away—no last-minute errands, just relaxing from the moment you arrive.
• I’m here for you from booking through check-out. Any questions, big or small, I’m happy to help so your stay is just as you imagined.
• With a background in design, I’ve filled each space with personality, style, and a love for art and architecture.
• Both homes have large dining tables (seating 12+), perfect for group dinners, and cozy fireplaces for winding down together.
I really love this neighborhood—and my neighbors!—so I ask that guests please follow Monroe’s quiet hours:
After 10 PM on weekends and 9 PM on weekdays.
