The annual championship Skutsjesilen starts on the coast off Hindeloopen. During your vacation you can walk on the dike, go for a bike ride or take a trip to one of the surrounding villages. Also worth seeing is the city of Sneek. Many guests also come here for kite and windsurfing. There is also the possibility to paddle a kayak along the dike and beaches. Around the old harbor you will find cozy cafes and restaurants.
