You cannot beat the location and accommodations of Casa Amigos! Our hosts provided everything we needed for an ultimate beach vacation, and the restaurants are terrific. It was so convenient - especially when traveling from a different country. We can't wait to visit again!

The location was perfect with beach and restaurants just steps away. Great pool and plenty of shade and chairs for those that wanted to stay out of sun. Will stay here again.

The location could not have been better. So close to the beach and restaurants within walking distance. The house had the perfect space for our needs and the outdoor space was perfect. Lots of covered space to enjoy the outdoors even with the hot sun. Everyone had their own bathroom which is awesome. The kitchen is well furnished and was happy to see a few spices as well. The AC worked great. It was the perfect house for my family.

Five stars all around. Family had an incredible time and it was the perfect location. The check-in and checkout process was incredibly easy and we had the best time. Prompt responses and the host made our stay wonderful. We could not have been any happier.

Great place to stay!

Property was amazing! The location and amenities cannot be beat. Property manager and owner were both very helpful and made sure we had a great stay. We would highly recommend!

Great location, great beach. Close to the Witches Rock area by water taxi for a couple bucks otherwise it’s a 45 min. drive. We prefer to be at Playa Grande as it far more quiet, safe, has everything you need even in low season. Lots of great restaurants by foot or auto. Just a great place to hang out and relax.

We had the BEST TIME during our stay! The house had everything we could possibly want or need. The restaurant next door has amazing food and the staff was unbelievably friendly and assisted us with other activities we did while there. The property Manager was extremely helpful and quick to respond to texts when we had questions. 10/10 recommend Casa Amigos for your stay in Costa Rica!

Great stay with extended family!

We really enjoyed this house. The house is well-equipped and the backyard/pool area is stunning. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, the boogie boards and the pool. The beach across the road is gorgeous and the restaurant next door was our favourite place to eat. Overall we had a really great stay!

Wonderful Time!

Property was excellent. Suited our family wonderfully. Beach was close and pool was great. We did not rent a vehicle so getting some groceries was a challenge, but we figured it out.

Amazing property

Fantastic place to stay in Costa Rica. The house was big enough for 11 of us (3 generations). The outside space is amazing. So close to the beach. Shawna was great to work with. Highly recommend this property.

Playa Grande

The house was very nice, clean, and extremely well appointed. The pool was warm, and the A/C was a blessing. It's very close to the beach, and is well secured for safety. Two way communication with the owner and property manager was easy and responsive.

Ideal location for sunsets and surfing

Beautiful house and cannot beat the location for access to Playa Grande. We saw gorgeous sunsets each evening and the kids learned to surf this trip! The property manager also helped us to arrange a catamaran trip and some other fun activities. 10/10 would stay here again! Thank you!

Great house, great location!

House is spacious, well equipped and perfect for a group. Access to beach and wonderful restaurant, coffee shop, market all ideal. Shawna was readily available and great to work with. Meylin cooked us a delicious meal the night we arrived and house was stocked with pre ordered groceries. Everyone in our family was 100% happy at Casa Amigos!

Casa Amigo

Everything was absolutely perfect. The beach was gorgeous and such a wonderful location for our small wedding. Shawna was awesome. I find pictures usually look better online but this place was better in person. Everyone had a great time.

Costa Rican Paradise Found: A Vacation Rental Worth Returning To!

This is our 2nd stay at Casa Amigos! We love it. The property is very clean, well stocked, and perfectly situated adjacent to the beach and our favorite restaurant. Shawna, the property manager was great at coordinating our excursions, securing grocers, checking in on us, and was readily available when we needed her. We are already booked again for next year!

Perfect place for our family! The grounds were beautiful, the house was very nice and well stocked! Our hostess was very attentive while we were there. Our communication with her was minimal prior to our stay! Booking excursions through her was probably best, but with a large group I wanted some family excursions booked in advance, so we were on our own booking them. The Beach just footsteps away was wonderful! I would book this place again! Not disappointed at all!

Great & Relaxing Family Vacation

The process of check in, arranging excursions and the owner calling me to talk through a couple questions I had prior to arrival in Costa Rica was Great! Very personable owner, Scott and Manager, Shawna. The home is as it looks on the listing. We had such an easy 2 minute walk to the ocean and playing on the boogie boards. THANK YOU for renting your home and making it a comfortable place to stay!

This home in Playa Grande is more than weever expected and perfect for our group of 10. It has all the pleasures of home away from home. The pool area is amazing and perfect place to relax! The beach is a short walk and the Azul Cafe is right next door which has the best food and service I have ever had on vacation! This is an exceptional home with everything you could ever want or need to relax!

wonderful house in a lovely community

The house was perfect for our party of 9. The kids (teenagers) had plenty to keep them busy between the pool, beach, and ping pong table. The house had everything you could need to cook at home but there were restaurants within walking distance as well. The beach is very easy to access and was great for both swimming and surfing. We would definitely consider staying at this house again if we travel with a large group again.

Amazing property

Casa amigos is an amazing property. The property is exactly as described, close to the beach (about 2 minute walk), had everything we needed, and more! On top of the amazing property, Shawna is fabulous to work with. She was super helpful throughout the entire planning process, arrival and available at all times during our stay! She said everything up for us, and even arrange for a chef to come in, which I highly recommend Yani if you are staying there! can’t say enough good things about this property and the people associated with it! Would definitely stay again!

Amazing!

Great location, amazing property & everything is very well thought & appointed. The house is about an hr ride from the Liberia airport, the beach is a short walk across the street, & there is a great little, affordable, delicious restaurant beside it. All you need for an amazing stay! The house has filtered water, ice maker, great AC, all the things you need for the beach, and the backyard with pool is a delight. Do not hesitate to book this property. We will be back!

Perfect home in paradise

This house exceeded my expectations, we had family and friends get together, perfect for all of us. The house is equipped with everything you’ll need, the pool is perfect, the beach is a few steps away, we can’t think of anything else to make it a perfect stay. It also felt very private and safe! I recommend 100%, we will be back for sure! As a costarican that has been coming to playa grande for over 30 years, this location continues to be a top favorite.
