House is pretty good once you’re inside. Location is questionable.

Location is in a revitalizing area. We do provide this info to guests in the listing details. It is an older neighborhood, within a 5 minute drive of downtown with very nice maturer in age neighbors.
Thanks for being our guest!
Mine and my husband's birthday are 3 days apart, and we went to Birmingham to the Barber Motorcycle Museum and explored the city, had a great and relaxing experience 😎

Our team is glad you all enjoyed your time in Birmingham.
Overall, it was a great visit, thanks so much! The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy at first, but the house itself was perfect for our visit. We had everything we needed, and it was cozy. Watch out for the steep entrance to the driveway though :)
My family and I were having unexpected renovations done at our home that forced us out for 1 week. Our stay was very comfortable due to the "at home" feel of the house. The kids loved the toys and my 6ft husband loved the comfy king sized bed. Thanks!

We LOVE that you all enjoyed your stay and welcome you back, anytime! Glad thr kids had fun with the toys.
My family stayed at this house on a short week-end trip to Birmingham. It was just right for us. It's in an older neighborhood which was nice and quiet. We were no more than 15-20 minutes away from great restaurants and tourist spots. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. The house was just as pictured. Thanks!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you could think of was available. It is almost like being in our own home. The neighborhood was quiet. It was very convenient for our trips to the BJCC. Thanks again.
The pictures of the home depict the actual property. It had nice towels, bedding, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, and kitchen was equipped. I folded the towels for them that were left in the dryer:) everything was in working order.

Denise was a great guest. The turnover crew stated couldn't believe someone was there, were it not for the beds, which we ask guests to please leave unmade. We are happy to host you and your family, anytime. We hope you enjoyed your time in the city!
The home is cute, well decorated and has comfortable seating and beds. The porch is adorable and the flowers are beautiful! The host responded immediately to any needs that we had. Everything we needed was available. Extra chairs in the dining room would be nice for more seating around the table. The neighborhood was a little concerning - there was a big party at one of the houses when we arrived the first night. Lots of people walking on the street and outside. It wasn't a huge deal though and we would definitely stay there again!

Thank you, Hope. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. East Lake is an eclectic neighborhood, currently under revitalization. There are older homes that haven't been rehabbed. Thank you, for your kind comments about out home.

About the host
Hosted by Natalie
Hi All! I am a former military brat, who has been traveling, since a toddler. I have lived in various places across three continents. When I get the urge to move, I travel. Moving often as a kid has me wanting to pack up and go, quite often. I am a transplant to Birmingham and have grown to love the area. I love exploring new places, meeting new people and new experiences. My family has rented through this platform and others, for quite some years, now. I have managed rentals for over 15 years. I am excited to be on the hosting side of this platform.
Why they chose this property

East Lake is full of character and is close to everything. You have multiple entertainment districts less than 15 minutes away, shopping and historic Ruffner Mountain.
