My employees were working in Butte for the last 2 weeks and absolutely loved your property and the fact that you checked in on them. We will absolutely be back!
Host was very pleasant. There’s a lot of history with this charming little house. The accommodations were some of the best compared to other places I have stayed and my family loved the upstairs area. Highly recommended.
The little house that could! It is an older historic house that gives off an old-timey feel. Location is good, in a historic part of Butte. For 2 people it was great.
This house was wonderful- Jeanne had it stocked with snacks and drinks in the fridge and any thing you could possibly have forgotten as far as toiletries. The place was beautiful, well-kept, and comfortable and she was very responsive and came to meet us the next morning. Really cool to stay in this old school Butte neighborhood so close to everything.
We spent two nights in Butte and to be honest, the online pictures don't do this property justice! The home is very spacious and wonderfully decorated.
Jeanne is an amazing host and all amenities (snacks, toiletries, etc.) were there. We will most certainly be back.
We stayed two nights last month and decided to do a longer stay over the labour day weekend. So glad we did; the home is perfect and Butte is an incredibly interesting place - the mining museum / underground tour is a must do. We’ll be back!
This charming little house has everything you need and is so comfortable! We would highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in “Butte America”!
What an adorable cottage, just perfect for a small group, super clean and top of the line everything. Hostess left fridge full of juice, breakfast goodies and water. We only had one meal out as we took a few snacks ourselves.
Highly you to seek out this property!!!
If only my work could have lasted a lot longer than a month in Butte because I was so enamored by the house. It’s quaint, gorgeous, clean and perfectly located in uptown.
Jeanne is the best host and it would be difficult having to use this experience as a barometer for any future stays. I’m not exaggerating when I say this was my best experience yet considering I travel a lot for work and stay in different places across the country for work.
You won’t regret booking this place at all.
10 out of 10!
Jeanne, thanks for being so amazing in everything for us even before we arrived. Jeanne took us around to see the MT University that we came to settle our son. It was a perfectly amazing and magical experience. Truly a home away from home. But most of all we felt comfortable leaving our son so far away from home knowing Jeanne will be there if we need anything.
We had an amazing time in Butte and our accommodations at the Annie Grace house were perfect! Perfect location! Jeanne has thought of everything you may need!! Can’t wait to come back.
We had a great stay at this property. The owner was super helpful and very thoughtful. She provided breakfast items for us during our stay as well. Very comfortable property in a good location in Butte. Would definitely stay here again!
Every aspect of my stay at this property was perfect from beginning to end. Jeanne has thought of every detail to provide the best experience possible for her guests. It was such a pleasure to stay here & the location was absolutely the best. It’s located in sought-after Uptown Butte. I was able to walk to restaurants, businesses, historic districts, as well as having outdoor areas to relax & take in the fantastic atmosphere.
This was the best VRBO yet! Host thought of everything and was very accommodating. Loved everything about it, the thoughtful basket of treats, the well stocked fridge and coffee bar to the history of Butte throughout the home. Highly recommended!
Perfect spot in historic Butte for four visitors in two beds. As warned the steps to the bedroom and bath upstairs are for two agile patrons. We managed just fine, but we have friends who would not be able to enjoy the second floor. Host(ess) and company most cooperative. Can't wait to go again!

About the host
Hosted by Jeanne Anderson
As a long time resident of Butte, I appreciate the property's unique characteristics and history. I enjoy hosting and meeting people, and helping them get to know our town.
Why they chose this property
The first reason I chose this property because of it's rich history and significance of it's original family to the city of Butte and the mining industry. The property was built in 1883 by William and Annie Thompson. William was a carpenter by trade and started a large lumber yard in Butte, and built many of the small miners cottages you see in the uptown Butte area. William was also the 12th mayor of Butte and a member of the State Legislature. Their oldest son, William Boyce Thompson, started a large mining company called Newmont Mining, which continues today. William and two other sons also started an investment company, Thompson Financial Company. The second reason I chose this property was it's close location to the uptown Butte area and all of it's attractions. The property is named the Annie Grace House in honor of the first lady who lived there and in honor of my mother, Grace.
