Home away from Home

This property overall was the best VRBO we've stayed. It was clean and had all the comforts of home. So convenient sitting between the Naval Base and the airport. We had 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Kitchen was great to prepare simple meals for our group with plenty of dishes. We'd love to stay at this property on our next visit to N Charleston if our hosts will have us back.

Very nice

The owner is very responsive and makes sure you have everything you need. The house was clean and spacious. Convenient parking spots in the back too!

Bad/sketchy neighborhood with..

It was clean, stocked with paper towels & toilet paper. That was a plus. But the neighborhood was very sketchy. We didn't feel comfortable being outside. They also had an ant problem. There were mini ants all over the counter so we couldn't put any food on the counter at all.

Cute place; very clean and comfortable

This is a cute house, and it was very roomy. It had all the amenities that you need. It is about a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. It’s not in a great neighborhood but we didn’t feel unsafe.

Unsafe neighborhood and unresponsive host

We did not end up staying here because upon arrival and driving around the neighborhood we did not feel safe having our family or our car here. We saw a couple cars with smashed out windows and the playground was vandalized. The surrounding area has abandoned warehouses, plasma donation centers, and pawn shops, not to mention homeless activity. We booked a hotel room instead, and then it was a nightmare dealing with VRBO. The owner was completely unresponsive, so we could not even get money back for the cleaning fee. I would steer clear of this property, this area, and the owner.

Excellent for family!

This was the perfect place for us to spend the weekend for Parents Weekend at the Citadel. Riverfront Park is close and was a nice and peaceful place to walk and see the sunrise and sunset. Easy to get downtown. The host was quick to respond to any questions!

Nice place to stay.

The bathroom in the master bath was clogged. Otherwise everything was very good. Perfect for me and my two friends. Lots of restaurants close by.

Comfortable and Convenient

The house was very comfortable and the host set us up well with some necessities. It’s a very convenient location and easy to get to downtown, Folly Beach, Mt Pleasant, etc. There are also some great dinning places nearby. In a great little neighborhood with several playgrounds if you have small kids.
