I really enjoyed the stay at Four Eleven. It was nicely decorated, clean, and well located. It's a far better experience than the hotel in Vinton. I felt very at home here. Even loved the book selection. Look forward to staying again next time I'm visiting family.

Rachael- Really appreciate the review and 5 stars! Glad you enjoyed the stay and look forward to having you back any time.
Comfortable place. The bar across the street lets out at 2 am and gets quite noisy. Train comes through town around 4 am.

Thanks for the review Michael and glad it was a comfortable stay. From time to time the bar can get a little noisy with patrons coming and going. We did get a sound machine for the apartment to drown out the noise. All guests are welcome to use it.
It is a quaint, delightful apartment. On the small end, but has all you need. The owners were great to work with. The location is perfect, and many great eateries were just 1/2-2 blocks away. Vinton is a sweet little town. The locals are hospitable and welcoming. We enjoyed many good meals at several eateries (Chinese, Mexican, barbecue, coffee house, pizza). The Ron Da Voo tavern across the street was surprisingly great. Easygoing, courteous staff, good food & drinks at very fair prices. If you’re looking for a hip, trendy, buzzing place, look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful escape in a quaint little town, this is perfect.

This property is amazing. All the amenities one needs for a short stay. Quaint, modern decor, WiFi, HDTV, refrigerator, and kitchen supplies. The microwave popcorn and coffee machine with pods is a nice touch. Not ADA accessible.
We were in Iowa for a wedding and reunion. We like this location as it is close to our family, but gives us some individual space. We enjoy that their is a bar/restaurant across the street and the grocery store is also in walking distance.
It would recommend adding a small bistro table and two chairs for those who want to eat meals in.

Thanks for the review, Phillip! The location is pretty fantastic with being centrally located in town and walkable to a lot of food/grocery/shopping options. I like the recommendation as well. We'll work on getting these additional items.
If you're staying in Vinton-this is a great location. Granted the "Voo folks across the street may be rowdy but the location is great. You can walk around the corner to go to Brew and Chew,e tc. Everything is within walking district. Cute apartment...only suggestion...add one more shower rod within the bathroom...we had 3 folks and not a lot of places to put wet towels...but if that's the worse concern...it's not a big deal. Loved staying there.

Thanks for the staying Michelle! Glad you enjoyed your time in Vinton and at the Four Eleven Suites. Regarding the bathroom hooks, I do believe there are a few on the backside of the door, but agree we can add some additional places to hang towels. We'll work on making that addition! Ron-da-voo can get noisy from time to time, so we've added sound machines to the rooms in case guests would like to use them.
I enjoyed a week in this apartment and it couldn’t have been a better experience! The pre-stay communication with my host was wonderful and the keypad code process to get into the apartment was quick and easy. Inside, the apartment was exactly as pictured on the Vrbo site and it was clean and comfortable. I loved the old style (huge!) windows and high ceilings, combined with thoroughly modern decor, fixtures, appliances, etc. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer “home” for my week’s stay.

Thanks for the review, Chrystal! We're glad you enjoyed your stay & that the property met your expectations!
This lovely property is located on the 2nd floor of a vintage building. On entry there is a bathroom on the right and a huge closet on the left. The main room has high celings and huge windows with blackout curtains. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, diswasher, full size fridge and plenty of utensils, pots, pans and dishes. The bedroom has french doors separating it from the main room and plenty of in-room storage. Fun touches included s record player and album, several books and games, and a vintage fireplace. The bed was very comfortable and the small town environment allowed for a great night's sleep. Directly across the street is a bar with great food and a block away is a coffee shop/wine bar/antique store (yes, all of those in one space). There is a grocery store just a few blocks away as well. Street parking was always available in front of the building. The Amana Colonies are a 40 minute drive away and one of our favorite places to visit. We had a great time and will likely stay there again when we are in town.

2 night stay in Vinton
Overall impression was OK. Suggestions: 1)need towel racks in bathroom 2)box of Kleenex tissues would be nice 3)change refrigerator door hinge to left so opens into kitchen 4)need folding luggage rack for suitcase…we used coffee table for luggage 5)possible small cafe table with 2 chairs.
We received check-in info day of arrival via email, which we had informed host that was not available to us while on the road. Arrived at location expecting to be met….finally able to enter after the barber from downstairs made a phone call, apparently to someone local, as I
was unable to reach Mike by phone. Consequently we were able to get into the room at about 4:30 after arriving at 4:00.

Hi Sherry- Apologies we didn't meet some of your expectations. We've noted the improvements we can make. Your note on not having internet access while traveling slipped through the cracks. We did attempt to provide phone numbers a few days prior to your stay and later realized that the site blocked the numbers. We do apologize for this! We're glad that Matt (barber) was close by to assist. He's the best. We were not local and future guests should note that the property is self check-in via keyless entry. Apologies again for the not-so-smooth check-in. We look forward to using your feedback to enhance the experience for future guests.
First things first: very good communication with the property manager, very clean apartment. Second: the location is wonderful, with restaurants, coffee shops and a nice grocery store within easy walking distance. The apartment is also very close to Celebration Park and the Courthouse Square. The blackout curtains are a must at night, as the streetlights are close to window height. Also, as it is in downtown, there can be some noise at night. But overall, this is a very nice alternative to other places to stay in the Vinton area, and the location is hard to beat.
