Everything was beautiful. Very clean and the game room was perfect after using the fire pit for smores. We had a day at the beach which was a 20 minute drive and an awesome time going rafting down the river another day. Very pet friendly and welcoming. We definitely would recommend this for a family adventure! Thanks!

Lovely Fall Getaway

I hosted a family dinner for my mom’s 60th birthday with a cozy fall menu. This house fit the theme well and we had plenty of space. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the fire pit but I’m sure that would have been lovely! Thank you for your hospitality!

A Pleasant Stay in Glen Spey

The house was exactly as described and easy to find. There were some tech features to the house that took a minute to figure out but nothing out of the ordinary-- smart locks, smart thermometer, etc. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy and we really appreciated the pack and play for our infant daughter. Location was convenient for visiting family in a quiet rural neighborhood.

Great house and host

We absolutely loved this house! The layout was great, the bedrooms were all good sizes and the first floor game room was awesome. The exercise equipment was perfect and I loved that I could watch TV while on the bike. The reclining couches were incredibly comfortable and the pool table was a lot of fun. I sat at the desk and did some work while I was there. We wanted for nothing

We had a lovely weekend stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the view of the pond and ducks while peacefully sitting on the back deck having our morning coffee.

Quaint Weekend Stay

This was a great stay to get away from the city. The hosts were very responsive, and it was very easy to check in. Our stay felt so homey because of the friendliness of the hosts and feel of the property. It’s a big space to stay with friends and family. This was a needed peaceful weekend

Nice vacation house

House was very clean, modern kitchen, bathrooms were very clean. Nothing negative to say about the house or the Owner. Renters should be aware that they list two single beds in the basement, they are cots also the house is in a neighborhood and does not give you that Catskill feeling. Patio furniture was a little rough and we would not sit on it. The pond was very shallow and not really useable for any activities. Plenty of firewood for bonfires.

Guys get away

Stayed here with a couple of friends while going to Monticello Motor Club. Great property and hosts. If you are coming to the car track with a trailer be sure to leave your trailer at the track before coming to the house. Narrow one lane road and small turn around end street were a challenge. I looked at the exterior pictures and thought the wrap around driveway was bigger.

Not as expected

After a long day traveling the least you want to see when you go to bed on your first night, it’s seen hairs on your bed sheets! These were not pet hairs! Well, I sent the host pics via text which she only replied to us the next morning saying she will contact her cleaning staff to let them know! There were no fitted sheets to change and just ended up brushing them off!! The next day, we noticed long hairs on one of the other rooms where my boy was sleeping (he has short hair)! I also let her know immediately via text which she didn’t reply at all! Again, no extra fitted sheets available to change! Communication with this host was terrible since the first inquiry! I did ask her if she could wave me some NOT all of the cleaning fees for obvious reasons which she never replied! I have the videos and the texts to prove my review about this rental. I left this property cleaner than what I found it! This property shouldn’t be advertised as to have a lake view, it was more of a filthy pond/swamp in their backyard. Other little things like tv controls not working in the basement which we have to use/replace with the upstairs tv controls’ batteries. I asked her about this which she replied the next day with “glad you figured out”!! If you are scared of spiders, this place is definitely not for you, we found few big ones inside the house. Overall a terrible experience, the host doesn’t communicate at all! Never stay here again!

Lovely house

The house is very nice and the area is very peaceful. The lake, however, wasn’t really a lake. It was more like a small pond. It was still a nice view, but there was a lot of vegetation in it (lily pads, algae, etc.), so you couldn’t really swim in it, and kayaking in it was also a bit difficult. That said, my friends and I had a great time!

True to pictures—FABULOUS!

Spotless! Fun! Close to so much to do, (we saw a concert at Bethel Woods, took a mediation class at Kadampa and tubes down the Delaware) but the house is so wonderful you may not want to leave! Had a great time with hubby and 2 adult children. Airy, bright, clean and so much to do. Hosts also stock the place well so you don’t have to worry about spices, paper towels and garbage bags. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Home away from Home

We were in the area for a wedding and could not have picked a better place to call home during our time there. What a blessing to have a well appointed and beautiful home to cook and relax as we attend our duties in the wedding. Having a 1yo, it was helpful that two sets of adults could stay comfortably and have a room for our child to rest and nap. Zach house is a great place to stay!

Our names are Cindy and Kevin and toddler is Zachary. We made the decision to start a vacation rental during COVID. Before COVID, we loved (and still loved) to travel in search of authentic food paired with the perfect wine. We have been blessed to experience over 20 different destinations, with Venice being one of our favorites.

After a long search, we finally stumbled upon this lakefront home while expecting our baby boy. Stepping into the foyer, we instantly knew this was our next adventure.

Zachary arrived in February of 2022, just a few days before Valentine’s (and the SuperBowl) and is the inspiration behind Zac Rental. As a teacher, I know how important experiential learning is especially in the fresh outdoors. We hope to bring our passion for travel, learning and the great outdoors into your stay at our lovely home.

This 2,100 sq foot, newly renovated home will feel like your own, just 2 hours away from NYC. Conveniently located along the Delaware River Gao and bordering PA, this cape features ample natural lighting throughout. On your way to the house, make sure to check out Hawks Nest and all its beautiful, natural views.

The private lake can be seen from anywhere in the house, even in the bedrooms. Enjoy time on the deck, at the fire pit, working out downstairs, watching a movie in the theater room, games in the family room, or a family dinner in the spacious dining room. Essentials, such as basic seasonings, pots and pans all available for your use in the kitchen, even a coffee bar.

This is the property because it will feel like your home, just with the lake available. A kayak and paddle board are in the shed to enjoy. Please use a life vest at all times while out on the waters. Or you may choose to fish just a short 10 minutes way (check out our Welcome Guide in the foyer).
