Great space for families! We appreciated that there was space to spread out and that the kids could play in the basement. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the outdoor deck (grill and fire pit) as well.

This house was great. Much bigger inside than it looks. Clean, well-maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Nice outside area as well. Communication with Denise, the property owner, was super easy and she was very helpful. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time enjoying the house and the lake. The host was responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. Free use of kayaks was a wonderful addition to all the amenities. The lake is noisy due to motor boats but we could still enjoy it by sitting under the gorgeous blooming catalpa tree right on the shore, which provided fragrant shade. We’d love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a really pretty area. We had a couple of problems while we were there, but the host took care of them right away. I will say that the water pressure at the house was low and the basement was a bit musty, so perhaps those can be addressed. There were 9 of us staying here and we had a nice time. We also really enjoyed kayaking on Mohican lake.

This was a middle of the road stay. The house has all the kitchen items needed, towels, plenty of parking. The owners were VERY responsive. Cleanliness was iffy. Anyone who has mold allergies should not stay here, as the basement has a strong musty smell, that did not go away, even with running the dehumidifier constantly. The sheets were clean but when we stripped the bed, the mattress pad was dirty and yellowed and the pillows were yellow and stained.

Nestled in a quiet forested area right next to a stunning lake, the location was simply perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature. We loved waking up to the serene sounds of the woods and taking morning walks by the water.The house itself was incredibly well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The number of bedrooms was ideal for our group, and each room had good beds that made for restful nights. It truly felt like a home away from home!Denise was an exceptional host. From the moment we booked, she was attentive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond by arranging for our early arrival and late check-out, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Her positive attitude and dedication to her guests really shone through, and we felt so welcomed.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this vacation house to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you, Denise, for making our trip so special! We can't wait to return!
