A perfect couple of days!
Great location and amazing views!! We enjoyed a couple of days relaxing on the deck and playing on the beach. The kids loved using the paddle board, kayak and other toys. The accommodation was excellent - plenty of space and great views of the lake. Very close to Douglas & Saugatuck for restaurants and shops, Holland just a short drive where we picked blueberries and ate blueberry donuts.

The history, the view
From the amazing photo journals you know this is a well loved home. While it has all been updated beautifully it still retains its original personality if you look close. You can imagine the crab boils and families who have spent summers here. We came in the winter and it was a cozy stay.

Weekend Getaway
We spent a wonderful weekend at this property. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved watching sunsets over the lake. Walks on the beach and visits to the surrounding towns. The property was extremely clean and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Heaven on earth
let me know if you want anything added or removed...here's what i wrote: This cottage allowed for such an intimate beautiful trip for our family and friends. The location with private beach and the beach house (kitchen sink etc) gave us our own private setting for snacks, sunsets and beautiful sunny days on the beach where our son could play in the sand. Morning beach walks were incredibly peaceful as we picked some favorite rocks and followed deer footprints in the sand. When driving/walking the neighborhood loop, we saw so many deer up close and personal. The loop allowed for the perfect stroller walk and the Woosah Outdoor coffee location being on the route is a great place to stop and get some caffeine and souvenirs. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook our meals when we wanted to stay in and the town of Saugatuck was so close we drove in often for lunch and shopping. There was also a small grocery store conveniently just down the road nearby. Such a friendly experience! The showers had instant hot water and the beds were very comfortable. Definitely hope to come stay again in this piece of heaven, highly recommend this cottage home if you need a quiet getaway to connect with nature, or gather with family and friends to make some of the best memories life can offer!
