We loved the isolation of this cabin, it is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac of a street that only has 2 other houses on it. The kitchen looks all new and well stocked. It is centrally located, convenient for travel to all of southern Vermont and the Green Mountains.
Very clean little chalet
Very nice renovated kitchen
Everything functioning properly
Lots of mosquitoes in the area so not great for the outdoors but perfect for the night
Super cute chalet in lovely private setting. Very well equipped. We only stayed one night and so wished that we had stayed longer. Our only complaint was the mattresses were not too comfortable. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Everything was wonderful but would have appreciated these 3 things:
Coffee mate for the coffee
Shampoo
Hair dryer
Everything else was fabulous!
Thanks
Chris
I stayed here by myself for a long weekend and it was exactly what I was looking for! The house is very close to the main road and is very close to gas stations, food shopping, and a craft beer store. It was about 20 minutes to bigger shopping areas and a lot of hiking and state parks are about a 10 minute drive.
The house was clean and spacious and very quiet at the end of the road. There is a nice front porch with a beautiful view. The washer and dryer worked great and it was nice to have that. I would definitely stay again!

Fall in Vermont
Vermont is beautiful. This is a good spot to take day trips from. The place is difficult to find in the dark. The street is not labeled and on a dangerous curve. But when found, a cozy spot at the edge of the woods. Not as clean as indicated on the site. Cobwebs everywhere.
Furniture needs some updating in the living room area.
Nice chalet. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay close to family. Kitchen well equipped. Coffee filters would be helpful but nice that coffee supplied. Also some instructions on using TV - what setting to use, how best to navigate apps. We lost the video and had to reset ROKU, which we were familiar with since we also use ROKU. The remote is a bit glitchy. Nice deck.
My wife and I enjoyed four nights at the chalet. Pre-arrival coordination was terrific - Theresa provided exemplary insights. The chalet is located on a 3-property road, at the end of the road (essential at the end of a cul-de-sac). This is a well-equipped, remote chalet. We hoped to see deer in the field across from the chalet, but only saw nightly turkeys. We used the chalet for daily visits to Woodstock, Manchester, and Bennington. The chalet's three bedrooms provide more than ample room. The kitchen is fantastic - tupperware for leftovers, plenty of dishes/pans/etc - we cooked dinner 3 of 4 nights. Immediate hot water in the bathroom and kitchen was fantastic. The washer/dryer worked flawlessly. We did not use the gas grill on the deck. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area!!
Small chalet house tucked away from main road. Quiet and peaceful. The house was fully stocked with everything you need. The owner, Theresa, was very responsive to any query we had throughout. The internet got knocked out by a bad storm and she and her husband worked for nearly two hours to sort it out for us. Since we were working remotely, it was a life saver for us (thank you!). Theresa even brought us fresh veggies from her garden! While mainly a ski town, there are plenty of state parks, hiking trails, swimming holes and stuff to do outdoors in the summer. We enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.
This property was newly renovated and clean. It was set back from the road and quiet. It was great for our group of 4. We spent the weekend there to attend a wedding and it was perfect for sleeping and having breakfast before heading out for the day.
We rented the chalet as a place to stay for a wedding in the area.
It was a great place & wish we could have enjoyed the house & area a bit more.
The only thing that would have made it better would be a real wood burning fireplace!
All in all, a very peaceful place & would stay there again when in the area!
Also, Theresa was very easy to work with and accomodating!
Loved this property. Close to Londonderry, Manchester, Stratton Mountain, Jamaica State Park, etc. There is plenty to do and see, especially if you love nature.
The host was very easy to communicate with. The accommodations were great; could use a little updating (furniture) and cabin was not easy to find at night. Fully stocked kitchen/baths. I give it 5 stars; would come back again
With only a few days until Memorial Day Weekend, my group of high school friends and I were boggled on where to travel for our yearly group trip. Most places were booked and the weather report was only becoming grimmer. It was only when we landed on Theresa's Chalet that hope rang the bell.
The Chalet is located near some wonderful hikes which are bone-chillingly beautiful. Hamilton Falls was a real treat. The Chalet itself is cozy, clean, well equipped and the perfect place to call home for a few days. The field outside is beautiful and the surrounding area is fun to explore. The Chalet is wonderful, woodsy, and will personally be remembered with the utmost sincerity and fondness.
