Montain hut Almhütte Katharina in a fantastic secluded location

The detached montain hut is furnished in a typical country style. Also due to the view over the valley from the property and its sunny hillside location at the edge of the forest the domicile is popular. Available for your exclusive use: sunbathing lawn, sun lounger, children's playground, swing, barbecue facilities, terrace, garden furniture and campfire site.


Location
Mühlbach im Pinzgau. The montain hut is located on a 20000 sqm open forest plot with meadow, shrubs and trees. The landlord does not live in the house or on the property. Our rustic Almhütte Katharina is a rustic and romantic hut from the 19th century that retains its charm from the last centuries.

However, the hut has been adapted and modernized to meet today's comfort standards. So there is infrared heating in every room and hot water is available from an electric boiler. In the hut there are two showers behind a curtain in the hallway and two separate toilets are in the house. To keep the hut warm and cozy, there are two large wood stoves and there is also plenty of wood.

Access is via a mountain road (unpaved, length 500 m). Snow chains are mandatory in winter. Parking is available on the property. The journey by car is easily possible in the summer to the house, in winter, the way to the house also cleared, but you need snow chains and four-wheel drive to the house. Otherwise, there is parking to about 250 meters in front of the house.


Special
electric heating. There is an infrared heater in every bedroom and in the lounge plus 3 wood stoves, so there is a constant, pleasant warmth.

Hot water is available via an electric boiler. There is plenty of wood for heating. Facilities: baby cot, high chair, internet access (WLAN), washing machine and dryer. TV reception takes place via satellite.

In winter, sledding at the house with free toboggans.

Below the property is the river Salzbach, along which a beautiful kilometer-long cycle path leads you on a discovery tour. Hollersbach 9 km with adventure playground, outdoor pool. Rafting or canyoning on Wildkogel. In winter: Ski lift 2,5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel. Ski area 2,5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel (Panoramabahn Kitzbüheler Alpen). ski bus 500 m. ski rental, ski school each 2,5 km in Bramberg am Wildkogel. sledge slope in Neukirchen 7 km.  Bramberg am Wildkogel and Neukirchen am Grossvenediger are part of the Wildkogel-Arena ski area, which stretches between the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbühel Alps. Panoramabahn 2 km to the Kitzbühel Alps.

The entrance to your mountain hut is located on the ground floor and leads directly into the vestibule with wardrobe.
Ground floor: Common room with sitting area. Bedroom with 1 double bed, 3 additional beds on couch/sofa and a fold-out mattress. Bedroom (walk-through room) with 1 double bed. Eat-in kitchen with sitting area, TV, fireplace and access to the terrace (garden furniture). Cooking nook in the kitchen-diner with TV, dining area, electric stove (4 plates), oven, dishwasher, fridge (icebox), coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle and dryer. Ski room with for parking in the woodshed. Separate toilet with WC and window.
1st floor: Bedroom (walk-through room) with 3 single beds and with sink and a sink in the hallway which is delimited with a wall and a curtain. 2 bedrooms each with 3 single beds. Bathroom with with shower facility, shower, window and 2 shower cubicles. Separate toilet with WC and window.
