About this property

Fun family-style casual and cozy condo. Great location and a mile from the Village and a mile from Eagle Lodge. Outdoor community pool, jacuzzi & sauna as well as BBQ's. It's been in the family for 40 years and we are just now starting to rent it out. Some upgrades so far (new appliances) and more to come. The massage chair is a perfect way to relax after of fun outdoor day.

All original artwork and sculptures created by my grandfather who was one of the original cartoonist at MGM hired by Walt Disney himself.

Very spacious and convenient location

Had a great time with friends for some spring laps on the mountain. Perfect for a big group and pet friendly. Rob was a great host, checked in on us throughout the stay. Kitchen is well-stocked. Clear check in and check out instructions and not overbearing. Had a ton of game boards. The only thing we really noticed is the cabin had a weird smell to it upon arrival. Could have been because it’s carpet? Or it is an older building. Just aired out and wasn’t such a big deal. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was good. The bad thing is that they put empty bottles of shanpo and conditioner in the bathrooms.

5+ STARS! You cannot ask for a better spot and host!

This has been by far the best VRBO experience in Mammoth! Love this cabin, very spacious and plenty of rooms and sleeping options, both private and shared. Perfect for both family or friends trip. The cabin is in a great location, with plenty of easy parking, close to the Village, restaurants and bars, Ralph’s, and easy ride to the Main Lodge or the Canyon Lodge. Very well equipped, lots of games, TV, Apple TV, stereo, WiFi, heat, fan, in unit washer and dryer, hot tub, etc. Rob the host was amazing, very friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. His communication is excellent and he constantly checks in, before, during and after the trip to make sure we are well taken care of. Definitely a 5+ (more if I could) listing, highly recommended! Thanks again Rob! :) Ali and friends!

I bought this condo from a really good college friend whose parents were the original owners from the early 80's. I've been coming up to Mammoth since the early 80's as well and love it. I love sharing the stoke and the condos with others:-)

Why they chose this property

I love Old Mammoth. The village is great but there's something a bit more nostalgic about this area.

What makes this property unique

It's the largest of all of the floor plans in the complex and is 2 stories with a master on each floor and a loft with 4 single beds. All of the kitchen appliances were upgraded in 2023 but we kept the original shag carpet (deep steam cleaned several times), Formica counter tops and the linoleum flooring to keep it cozy and old school. Most of the paintings in the condo are original Bob Allen paintings and Bob Allen was my grandfather and the original designer behind Howdy Doodie and Tom & Jerry. The wood pellet burning fireplace is awesome too and heats up the whole condo too.
