Location is good but cleanliness should be improved a lot.
Cleanliness of the property should be improved - especially carpet as well as kitchen area. There was one tile in the bathroom which was not properly placed therefore it is dangerous especially to toddlers as well as elders. Location was great.

what an experience
when we first arrived we could not get into the cabin so we sat outside for over an hour. once we got in we found animal hair everywhere, dirty floors, couches and other things. the owner of the property did communicate and get it taken care of quickly but it wasted our whole first evening. If youre older you wont be able to open the patio doors. and to top off everything we caught a SNAKE in the cabin on our final night. It could be a nice place but some things definitely need worked out.
Great property. Only thing the bathroom wasn’t clean. Otherwise it was great!

Forewarning
The property was decent. The house is pretty outdated, so I think it’s hard to make the property feel clean. But the beds were prepared, the kitchen had plenty to work with, and the living room was comfortable for us to spend time together. The location and the outdoors specifically the back patio is beautiful. But I want to forewarn anyone because I’m a pretty detailed person but missed this very crucial part of their property description. The house is a shared property. The description nonchalantly mentions this as a 3 unit property and private property in the same sentence! Note, there are 2 additional units attached/below this house. People arrived late at night, shining car lights in the bedroom windows and walking right along the side of the house to get in. Then one night they sat on their patios after midnight which was directly right outside the bedroom window. I essentially could carry on in the conversation while lying in bed that’s how close they were. We had to sleep on the couch. I choose houses over hotels to avoid other people and noise so this was a huge disappointment. Not technically the owners fault that other people are loud and inconsiderate, I just made the review so others know that this is not a private property.
We had the top part of the rental. Didn’t read it close enough that it had 2 other units. That was the only issue. We have vacationed for years in the Smokies and only seen a bear once. This time on our 3 day stay we seen bear 10 times. Awesome.
